Well duh?
[Read the article: The cold price of hot blood]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Who is stupid enough and naive enough to believe what they have been telling us about anything?
People who will vote for candidates that are in the pockets of the same people who brought us the iraq war.
The next coupe of wars will be real bargains, honest!

Thanks for the negative spin!
[Read the article: Hillary Clinton makes her stand in Ohio]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Thanks! Now I don't have to read your silly article/propaganda.
1. nervously optimistic
2. daunting delegate map
3. forces beyond her control -- in the race against Obama
What a loser she is.
Thanks to "journalism" like yours, so is the whole country.

@Busy Body
[Read the article: The cold price of hot blood]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Alcohol prohibition was the prime factor for the depression. Prior to prohibition, farmers could use agricultural waste product to produce fuel in stills to power tractors, trucks and cars. Prohibition effectively made big oil and gasoline a monopoly over fuel for all motor vehicles.
Farmers who couldn't afford it couldn't plow and plant and then the weather went sour causing the dust bowl.
But at least big oil had a monopoly over fuel. once that was firmly established, alcohol for drinking could be made legal again.
They will not teach you that in history class.

Control and Ownership of life, ITSELF!!!
[Read the article: Should biotech piggy go to market?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Once they patent a life form, it is theirs to control, sell and profit from. Once the patent expires (it is possible, but unlikely), the owners are free from any responsibility or liability for any problems or costs caused by their new life forms.
Are they liable while the patent is in effect? Probably only if it means more money for the corporations.
What about natural life forms that provide economic competition for "private" life forms. Would it not be in a corporations interests to put legal restrictions on natural products in order to protect profits? Wpouldn't they like to make "natural" pigs illegal? After all, they are "natural", "wild", "unclean", "uncertain", "chancy" and downright subversive to the very idea of capitalism.
If you don't think it will happen, that is precisely why marijuana is illegal, to protect corporations from competition from natural products.
I'll have three strips of Monsantos and two Perdues over easy and some ADM herbicide resistant corn meal with imitation butter flavor pretending to be grits.
HMMMMM! GOOD!

believe everything the msm says
[Read the article: Most Dems want Clinton to keep running, conditionally]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The MSM says not everyone is believing everything they say?
Unpossible.
How can the MSM report that people want someone they disappove of? This cannot be true, therefore it must be coming from the MSM, which must be true, of course, which negates the lack of truth with negative truth, or negatruth, which is the opposite of positruth, which is unbelievable because we hold all truths to be unbelievable until they are approved and diseminated by the MSM.
Since all truths are approved truths and not unapproved truths it makes far more sense to just vote for Bush or Gore unless you really like Kerry's hairdo better than Hillary's.
I am voting for Nader, which is why voting and voters need to be eliminated since the MSM is the source of all truth and knowledge, it would be far better not to waste resources with elections and just let our corporate masters choose our leaders and not waste airtime trying to convince us to vote for their choices which will get elected anyway no matter how many of us stay away from the polls in fear of catch a social disease like fascism or voter's remorse.
Well, in a former democracy, I suppose it is important to keep up with ancient tradtions, like the powerful British Royal Family, so by all means let us keep the trapping of elections, except for those pesky ballots which cause global warming which can be replaced by touching a piece of plastic on a computer screen.
But really, cannot the MSM spare us the embarrassment and insults of phony debates? It is making Americans look stupid.
We have enough reality television and games shows to make Americans look stupid. There is no need for "Moderators" to squat over us and let fly.
In February of next year, analog television sets will no loger recieve broadcast signals. I look forward to the improvement of service.

@stackey-dackey
[Read the article: Hillary Clinton makes her stand in Ohio]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The problem with McCain - last night NBC aired a program called "Medium". You can tell something is up with the name right away. In that program there was a villain, naturally, but this villain was a Senator. John McCain is a Senator. This villian was a Vietnam War Veteran. John McCain is a Vietnam War Veteran. The villain was also a Prisoner of War. John McCain was a Prisoner of War. The villain also was a CANNIBAL!!!!!!!!
If General Electric, owner of NBC, likens Senator McCain to a cannibal, I am pretty sure which way they want the election to go. Even defense contractors are wary of McCain.
Yes, mind control of the masses is just that simple.
Ever wonder why people hate Hillary? The headlines of CIA owned tabloids in the supermarkets are every bit as effective as networks and newspapers. Every time you buy something, those headlines plant ideas in your head. Relax, they have your best interests at heart.

Dean
[Read the article: Dean says he's concerned about a prolonged race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]IS it too late for him to join the race? The other two have just about convinced as many people as possible not to vote for them.
I'd rather vote for Kucinich or Dean but it looks like the Democrats really want me to vote for Nader.

"Can I stop having sex but keep getting STDs?"
[Read the article: Could I quit the drinking but keep the hangovers? ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Your phony letter writer must think your readers are pretty gosh darn stupid.
I tend to agree.

@A HALF a Billion Angry and Frightened Bees
[Read the article: Should biotech piggy go to market?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]OOOOPS, seems like your numbers are dwindling.
Couldn't have anything to do with genetically engineered food that is bad for insects, could it?
Outside of the lab, where is this genetic modification that you speak of going on at a much slower pace than in the labs? Who is mixing the genes? Who is cutting and splicing? Where are these chimeras?
Perhaps you are speaking of MANIMAL!
