Farnsworth!
Leave them kids alone.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.
/i think we have found the reason why american kids are not learning - we need more truncheons and tasers.
You are Correct!
This is obviously part of Joan Walsh's insidious plot to tabloidize and subvert Salon's for the benefit of the Air Force and whoever else is paying the bills. I for one am shocked an outraged that Joan Walsh would capitalize on this teenager's tragedy just to get some hits on the interweb tabulator We have heard so much about.
What next? Wet T-shirts, closeups of celebrity cellulite, articles about Tom Cruise and Britney Spears?
More wild teenagers and more handcuffs!
i remember school. i am not impressed.
i put three kids through school. i am mortified.
i work in higher education. been there, done that, with adults. psychology generally works and when it doesn't a call to security does. haven't had to call the cops on anyone yet.
You can't conceive of a reasonable way to deal with this situation without calling the cops and you are responsible for kids and work in the school system?
i liked it better when half the teachers weren't whacked on psych meds.
The kids are not your enemy. You are.
You never heard of CONFLICT RESOLUTION?
Just call the cops.
You are not an adult.
Yeah, I have noticed that the same behaviors which get black kids so much negative attention do not get so much negative attention when they are done by white kids. Bottom line is they figured they could get away with it and unless they are sued, they did get away with it.
After all that school, let the kids have their party and let none be excluded.
Too many mean and stupid people in this country and they are quite a bold bunch.

You want to put all the onus and responsibility for this on a high school kid?
You fascist moron, the adult thing to do would have been to refund her money, the point being is that there were no adults involved in this affair. The truly adult thing to do would have been to let the kids have their party and not exclude people because you do not approve of them personally.
If you cannot talk with and reason with a teenager and be able to outfox them and do it in a non-harmful way, you have no business dealing with kids.
She was upset. She was denied entry and then denied a refund. She felt she was dealt with unfairly and the correct choice is not to just go home. She asserted herself and even today, that is something that some white people cannot tolerate, a non-obsequent black person upset because they have been wronged and in her case demanding her money back.
And you racist morons bent out of shape over a high school girls idea of fashion which she gets from the corporate america you worship and suck up to like mammon's gold plated teat.
What do you expect children to model after? Watch TV, watch the movies, look in the fashion magazines and BLAME THE BLACK GIRL!!!!
You people make me want to vomit.
hu hu hu huhuhROOOOOOLLFFFF!
You are probably so stupid that you will protest that you are not racist. Took the wind out of that sail, morons. Not that you would notice.
Do any of you think this would have happened if she was white?
Dressed while black. Threatening the very sanctity and sobriety of the national institution of the high school prom. Led away in handcuffs, but not tased nor shot, for Houston is a beacon of mercy and enlightenment in an otherwise cruel and hard knock America.
Ever watch TV?
The women on Survivor are dressed less and less well. Dancing with the stars is ok, but this teenager isn't? Anyone of you ever watch a concert, or a video, or got to the shopping mall?
Wasn't there a woman dressed like that in the original Star Trek?
That young lady should sue them and wear the dress to court. These dried up husks of former humans should have their pants sued right off so that they will learn to leave the children play for before too long after that prom, they may be on their way to the same brainless and soulless existence of those who admonish and chastise the fashion sense of this forthright, confident and determined young lady.
Too bad Houston doesn't have any decent lawyers.
We shall see what Mr. Spader has to say on Boston Legal about this in the Fall!
Unless Eli Stone beats him to it.
Half this spew comes from the cyberwarriors at the pentacon and their defense contractor partners - Above All.
Incoming!
