the horror!

Vegetables are often eaten while still alive. Vegetables which are cooked are often boiled, roasted, baked or fried while still alive. Fruits and nuts are part of the reproductive system of the plants and they too are often eaten alive, raw with no consideration whatsoever for any moral issues that this could raise - if people were not so animal centric and vegetable oppressive.

What about their right to life? If you can plant it and it can grow, then to eat it rather than plant it is equivilant to murder.

At least animals can bite back or flee whereas vegetables are quite defenseless against Vegans.

So much for the Vegan moral high ground.

Even god prefers meat as evidenced by the story of Cain and Abel. Abel offered a meat sacrifice and Cain offered a vegan sacrifice and guess who got rejected and ended up killing his brother? That's right, the Vegan.

Don't forget Hitler.

Have you ever eaten "seitan"? If you have, you know why it sounds like "satan" but if it was "satan" you would expect it to have some wickedly good barbeque sauce on it, but it never does. If being "Vegan" is so cool, how come they take so much time and effort to make fake meat? How do you explain fake hot dogs?

A couple of months ago i had a rude awakening - I bought a Slim Jim and it tasted odd so I read the ingredients and it had soy protein added. Meat eaters don't go around trying to stick meat into vegetables unless it's stuffed cabbages and green peppers and it's not like we are trying to hide the fact that there is meat in those dishes.

But THEY stick their soy protein into our meat products and especially hamburgers.

It just isn't right.

Will someone pass the brocolli please?

professional trolls

They work for federal agencies, defense contractors, think tanks, politicians, media and pr firms and just about everyone who is sucking at the defense budget. Their job is to troll anti-war people and make enough ugly noise so as to drive people off. They use mulitple IDs. They all play from the same playbook. They never respond to serious questions. They always accuse. They act like they came right out of a Tom Tommorow comic.

They are reading from a script. It is the same script all over the web.

There are a couple of them here. Engaging them makes them happy and justifies their paychecks.

Sonofabastard

Hitler was reported to have been a vegetarian when I was a child, when I was a teenager and when I was an adult.

Are there any pictures of Hitler eating meat?

Maybe YOUR Hilter ate meat, but not mine. If he was eating meat then how do you explain his attack on the Soviet Union?

He clearly wasn't thinking straight. A vegetarian diet can lead to shortfall of essential amino acids needed for clear and rational thinking. It is reported that he became a vegetarian in 1931 and just look what happened after that!

"He has the lean and hungry look of a vegetarian, such men are dangerous" - if Shakespeare only had the word vegetarian that play would have made a lot more sense.

But just how far will a vegetarian go? There are people who hand out Vegan flyers where I work and I ahve talked to them and you knwo what? They not only want us to stop eating chickens, cows, pigs, turkeys, lambs, etc., but they want us to let those species GO EXTINCT!!! So they won't suffer domestication we must put them out of their misery.

Sound familiar?

As for heart disease and cancer, the ways of the lord are mysterious and it beats starving.

Revsionists

First they deny the Holocaust and now they deny that Hilter was a vegetarian.

When will this madness stop? Where is the moral outrage? This is not acceptable.

The Vegafascists will not rest until every domesticated farm animal is extinct!

America, don't let them take your hamburgers away from you! That think and juicy steak may be your last if these madmen have their way. It's about freedom and liberty and all who disagree should move to a vegetarian country.

/watches a little too much network news on sunday mornings - the logical fallacies are perfectly acceptable today if you choose the right nouns.

The expansion of now

The expansion of now is an interesting concept but two minutes seems a bit restricted and pointless. People can believe that they experience and instant now but it takes time for that stuff to be put together by the meat and it fools istself by not noticing the lag times and the resynchronization of sound and vision to play back a "seemless" reality. There are a lot of processes which occur that are way beneath the surface of our consciousness.

Controlling the range, filter and attributes of sensations is essential to control of the mind. It is a model upon which we project what we already know and expect. The other aspect is the degree to which we generate or choose a reality path and how predictable and how relaible the predictions are. l learned the esoteric take of it from Arica in the 70s. Everyone should have some sort of training or experince of controlling their mind and perceptions before they should be considered adult.

What is so special about thinking ahead?

Man bites dog!

Now that hardly ever happens now, does it?

What is now?

When I type this, when you read it and when the next person reads it. Cosmic.

Now what if the Nicholas Cage character turned to the screen and realizes that people are watching him in a movie?

Nah, been done too many times.

Now is what you think it is and what you can't think it is.

It's a game, dammit.

If someone really needs to have sexual and romantic situations portrayed in a video game there probably is a reason for that.
