@Cosmic Mojo

O'RLY?

Unlike Moslems, Christians and Jews have always supported human rights for everyone, especially women.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

If you aren't an atheist, you are a hypocrite.

Show me someone selling religion, and I'll show you someone who doesn't support human rights.

If you don't believe and adhere to our dogma, you are anathema and must be converted, ostracized, persecuted and/or destroyed and preferable by extraordinary brutality and torture. Even more so if it is over some quibbling minor detail of your fairy tale's interpretations such as whether or not transubstantiation actually physically occurs or is a metaphor.

In short, you are a bigot and not a very smart one.

So typical and ordinary in today;s america.

Won't be fooled again.

When was the last time that Hollywood did a remake of a 1950s, 1960s or 1970s "property" that didn't suck ass?

I no longer believe that they are capable of, or interested in, producing anything other than shit and them promoting the hell out of it so they can make even more shit.

Buying or renting the original TV series seems to be a better idea.

Stronger? Odor? Yes!

"I also want to thank everyone who emails me privately because of the alarming tenor of these threads. I really appreciate the support, but no one needs to worry about me! Salon has never been stronger, thanks to all of you."

Racism, sexism, conning, propaganda, shilling for corporate warmongers, insulting the intelligence and presenting symptoms of OCD, psychopathy and BPD may provoke what you call an "alarming tenor" amongst your readers.

But what do your readers know? You have been on the Chris Matthews Show! He is a slim cut above Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage.

Trust your peers, not your readers. Good luck with getting Russert's job.

I hope the symptoms are from happy pills - they will go away if you stop taking them.

Newsflash!

The other movies weren't that good either.

Everyone loves the spy spoof because it a staple and everyone knows how to process that. His work has never aimed higher than the work of the "Three Stooges" - just with higher production values and bigger budgets.

Hollywood doesn't respect the moviegoing public and produces shit for them to watch and if they did respect the audience and the art form of cinema, they wouldn't be making any money anyway.

I didn't see Cat in the Hat and I will not see any other Mike Myers movies. I won't see anything with Robin Williams, Ashton Kutcher, Tom Cruise, Jim Carey, Jack Black or Steve Carell in it either. In fact, most every time I have seen a movie lately, I have felt like I have wasted my time and money and got my intelligence insulted and my aesthetics shat upon.

They didn't used to make movies only for assholes and morons.

@ed c

Joan Walsh isn't stupid. The headlines are no accident.

The intent is to replace journalism with journalsim and stupification.

I know it is hard to believe, for someone who isn't familiar with psychopathy, but it is intentional and best of all, it is profitable.

You can get good money for lying, conning and manipulating the proles and dumbasses.

You just don't appreciate what Joan has done for Salon.

@AncientAssyrian

I'm thinking that NBC needs a new host for "Meet the Press" and someone is trying to impress them.

Good luck Joan! You can out Russert anyone.

Have you ever watched Meet the Press?

Get your WAR on, NBC!

WE ARE MAD AS HELL

but i'm pretty sure we are going to have to take a lot more of this.

A vote for McCain is a vote for war and fascism.

A vote for Obama is a vote for war and fascism.

A vote for McKinney is not.

McKinney who?

The final solution.

Animals that are currently raised for food are not suitable for living in the wild or to be kept as pets.

The vegetarian solution is extinction for these unfortunate beasts.

If you ask them, they will let you know.

Animals and plants are destined to be eaten, consumed and recycled by other animals and plants. PETA abhors nature.

Then again, is was founded as a counter-culture joke . It just got out of hand, unlike Ladies Against Women (L.A.W.), the Bozonati, the Pig running for President (pigasus) and Youth in Asia/Jump for Jesus.

We really should treat domesticated animals better, but that includes humans, and no one is protesting the abuses that are heaped upon them.

If eating meat is so bad, then why are there so many imitation meat products on the market? I'll take a good vegetarian meal over seitan or soybugers anyday.
