they are not necessarily stupid, just psycopathic

Yes, we are smarter than they are and they think they are smarter than we are and who exactly has the keys to the ignition and their hands on the wheel?

Their intellgence and "elite" aspect is in the ego circuit of the mind, the reptilian brain, icke's lizard folks, the pre-rational child. They are very intellgent in poiltics and power exchange. They get things done. They are "you know what's" and they don't give a damn about anyone else. To them, war is good, poverty is good, suffering is good, and more prisons are even better. They are jerks and they drive SUVs and cut people off, talk loudly on cell phones and piss on the toilet seat. There is one of them in each and every one of us. but we grew out of it buy the time we got out of elementary school. They didn't.

We have active rational circuits, social circuits and a good percentage of us have real FUN circuits. We focus our intelligence and "elite" aspect in these areas. We can figure things out, manipulate symbols, use logic, and synthesize an understanding of the social context and appropraite roles and policies for people dealing with each other. We also know that life can be fun and should be fun. We are convinced that we are smarter than they are.

WHO IS IN CONTROL?

The less education that is afforded to people and the more narrow and reestricted world views are, the more of the ego-territorial types will be produced. The more impairments, dietary and chemical which are intorduced into the system, the more of them that will be produced. We have to stress education in math, logic, symbol manipulation - art music drama and words and an understanding of differnt cultures and belief systems. It is harder to hate people that you know something about.

I hate to say it, but most people are using the same type of brain and the same type of operatng system and the differences in intelligences is mostly determined by what the person is focused on, interested in, or conditioned to do.

Start regarding them as just as smart as you are, just smart in a different way. That is how it is with everyone to a degree. It's called specialisation, variety and individuality.

The problem is that they ahve a sociopathic/psychopatic world view and operating system and just how the heck do you deal with that? The best way is prevention - the role of the schools and education. Unless the education system is reoriented towards education and stimulating the rational social and fun circuits we will not likely see positive change.

Can't we figure out ways to con the system and those folks into doing what is needed to keep things viable?

Elephantman

Bill Maher has a television program. He has had a few.

Everyone in these parts knows who Bill Maher is,

He doesn't have to work a regular job to get by.

You are responding to an article by him.

I'd say he qualifies as one of the "elite" but so does Paris Hilton, George Bush, Condeleeza Rice, Bill Clinton and Don Imus.

happy pills?

How likely is it that the shooter has been treated for depression?

Tuesday, April 17, 2007 09:51 AM

happy pills.

He had been on medication for depression. Just go to google and do a search on antidepressants and violence.

How about some pharmaceutical control.

Guns and happy pills make for a hazardous mix. To be fair, stricter controls on the anti-depressants and how they are prescribed would be just as effective as more gun control.

That's just not right.

Who let a democrat into congress? Heads will roll! Nancy Pelosi has got to get to the bottom of this and make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen again.

Sounds like a press release from American Idol's PR department

Sounds like a press release from American Idol's PR department as reprinted in comuuter and weekly tabloids across the nation.

It's the DRUGS!

The media wil focus on the GUNS not the DRUGS.

When was the last time you saw guns advertised on TV?

When was the last time you saw drugs advertised on TV?

Are they any questions as to why the media will not focus on the DRUGS?

Why don't insurance companies want to pay for psychiatric treatment?

It's a scam.

Did all the money and treatment do any good?

It isn't supposed to.

We end up with a significant percentage of the population whacked on psychiatric pills and if they stop taking them some of them will freak out and if they keep taking them some of them will freak out.

Just say no to drugs and don't forget to take your medication every day.

The psychiatric industry are just marketers for the pill/drug pushers,

Be patient!

It takes a long time to bankrupt the United States of America!

What's your rush?

What color were the pills?

Enough with racism already. The color of his skin doesn't matter. What color were the pills that he was on?

Who manufactured the pills? What was their name? Who prescribed them? What are their side effects? What was their mechanism of action? Was he properly diagnosed? Were the pills approprate for his diagnosis? What were the results of tests for any "chemical impbalances"???
