  • Token sacrifice.

[Read the article: Firing Imus was the right thing]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

In the collective toilet bowl of the major mass media content, this contribution has been deemed tainted. Meanwhile the other droppings are pure as gold and twice as valuable. Imus was shameful and wrong but that passes for the norm among those circles and the hypocrisy stinks even worse than the content.

It should be noted that Imus didn't coin the phrase. Indeed i have heard it well over a hundred times with nary a complaint or raised eyebrow. This was the first time I heard a white person say this phrase.

Now people can pretend the problem has been taken care of and other slicker new improved phrases and stereotypes will take their place. Circle of swill.

The people who have been paying him and others to spew this stuff have no consequences except for more profits doing business as usual.

  • just do something

[Read the article: I'm obsessed with being a hipster]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Channel your desire into some artform and just define yourself as being hip and keep your dull bland life as it is except for your art, you don;'t need talent - you have a computer and you are smart enough to use the internet so just make some art or musc or video. Don't worry about talent - most people don't have it and it doesn't matter. It is play for your mind and your spirit.

Most hipsters have boring dull crap jobs too. After work they shine. Nerds are the hipsters and hipsters are the nerds. The only difference is one does bad fashion with intent and the other doesn't.

Ever watch youtube? Anyone can be hip. There is something you can do to satisfy your urges. You just have to do it or something until you find it.

  • obstruction of justioce?

[Read the article: The Bush administration's terrible luck with finding documents]

This sure sounds like obstruction of justice to me.

I'm sure that the Attorney General will get to the bottom of this a prosecute all the guilty parties.

    Oh, wait a minute . . .

    . . . nevermind.

  • Obstruction of Justice?

    that's right, realname, sarcasm:

"don't get it. Why do you hate the jews?

They are no different than anyone else."

genes schmemes who knows, what i do know is a fairly easy marker for b.p.d. - that's the polite term for it - the other two terms are bad for business.

you are flat, with depth comes understanding. you are presenting yourself as a two dimensional comic book character. this is analgous to the child ego, the territorial reptilian circuit of the brain. you should try to activate the other circuits. then you may be able to present arguments or examples in order to better present your case without resorting to pretending that those who do not agree with you are jew haters.

you wouldn't happen to work on 17th street - wink wink nudge nudge, know what i mean?

maybe its just the same pathology.

but, i pretty sure i know your real name.

    how's business?

  • moonvies's cbs

[Read the article: No more whining excuses]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

After hearing Moonvies' outrge at Imus i decided to watch a few minutes of CSI whatever and in the few minutes i was entertained by:

    1. A lesson on how to kill someone with charcoal brickets tossed down a chimney.

    2. A lubed condom being discussed.

    3. A semen stained clown wig in that peeper case - after which a presumably perverted clown was pushed up against my tv screen by a law enforcement agent.

    Was that clown Moonvies?

  • Walk off.

[Read the article: A cheating bully is ruining our racquetball games]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

If he does something offfensive and worthy of sports television rather than friendly play, just walk off the court and say that the behivior is unacceptable.

Now if your other friends are as passive as you have been, you will see them stay on the court rather than walk off with you, in which case, you have become real and they have remained unreal.

Bullies get positive reenforcement for what they do, don't be surprised if the others prefer the bully to someone who complains about the bully. Don't complain, don't engage, walk away. Anyone who walks with you is a friend.

Of course, it would be far more fun to do to him what he is doing to everyone else, but you will take more heat than he for that. Chances are he will cry foul.

If they deleted one of your typical posts, then you should consider that they did you a favor. If you don't want your offensive posts deleted, make them at the Washington City Paper. Nuttycombe likes that sort of thing.

  • "reverend" sharpton and jackson

[Read the article: No more whining excuses]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

A fundamental tenet of Christianity is forgiveness, even when the offending party has not apologized or even acknowledge a wrong. Sharpton and Jackson presumably should know this so their choice not to forgive is a choice to deny their religion and Jesus Christ.

I do not think that they take their religion seriously.

They have both done their best to take a small thing and inflate it to the advantage of those who wish the news to cover small and insignificant things rather than the wholesale treason and betrayal of this nation by the current administration and their democratic go-alongs and supporters.

The current adminstration owes Sharpton and Jackson for this one. They also owe everyone else who has helped them with this smokescreen to cover up the real news including Salon and Conason,

    Who's side are you on?
