The most dangerous thing that the mythical or real Jesus did was to sell people the idea of not being afraid of death.

That was how Rome, and other authoritarian thugs controlled people. Obey, or they would kill you, and leave the body displayed so that people would figure that being dead was not a very attractive prospect.

Promise them heaven and eternal life? What better reason to crucify him? He was undermining the foundations of empire.

As for despair, they have pills for that. Eating beans, turkey and slamon is safer and actually works. Avoid therpaists, psychologists and psychiatrists as your despair is their paycheck and it is in their interest to keep you in despair and a regular customer.

You night also want to spend less time on the interweb, it is even worse than watching television for your mental health.

Yes, that stuff annoys me and pisses me off but only in so much as my morality is "superior" to this construct called god. Everyone thinks some one is scum for mass murder yet this same god killed off everyone but Noah and his family and we are supposed to worship that.

Don't foget this same god drove us out of the graden of eden because we became self-aware.

There is no justice. There is no hell and there is no heaven save for what we make ourselves or is imposed upon us and that generally is hell.

Real GOD is a circuit in your brain and Real GOD is the source of all things and that does not imply right and wrong.

When confronted with evil, do not despair, prevail. Work the problem out, just like in algebra, except the variables are not letters representing numbers. They are tools for interpreting and modifying your interface and actions with others and realities.

There are many other realities to deal with that do not involve despair. Considering the rest of the world, you have little reason to complain.

Evil is something to be avoided for dealing with it is never a situation where you will gain an advantage - unless you are prepared to be far more evil. (if someone is going to beat you up, you must disable them and do it hard and quick with little regard to the effect that the damage will do unto them)

Spend five minutes breathing and thinking with every breath inwards "breath in the good" and with every breath outwards think "breath out the bad."

Stop watching Law and Order and CSI - it is pollution.

The law protects the evil ones. Be careful when you deal with them otherwise you will have to deal with that.

What is the difference between clairvoyance and scripting the future, in your opinion?

Have you ever rewritten one of your expectations and have it follw the rewrite?

My opinion

My opinion is that a man would have to be a fool to venture an opinion on this subject.

A damned fool.

curveballs

Curveballs have a spin added in order to cause the path of the ball to behave undexpectedly.

Spin was not recently invented, nor were cons, disinformation, faking, etc..

It is easy to discern the obvious first order effects but this is far deeper than that. The United States has been spun out of control. Iraq was a first order target to lure the defense war industry and it's backers. The second order target was this country. Con men and psychopaths are rather easy to con and manipulate once you understand their motives and what they want to hear since they are fairly two-dimensional.

They still don't understand.

Who won the war?

We didn't.

The Sunnis didn't.

Who own's the debt?

Who supplies Iran?

Who wins no matter what happens?

The people in the State Department are probably too stupid to answer this question, or they know well enough to keep quiet lest they be fired.

"The Art of War" was written a long time ago. Apparently no one in the government has ever heard of it. I guess the brass in the pentagon hve heard of it, but it is doubtful that they could grasp it if they read it. Sure they can play a number on the Shia and the Sunni, but they cannot imagine that the same is being done to them.

Toys don't win wars, brains do.

Don't worry about the curveballs, the screwballs are a far greater problem. Too bad that it is too late to do anything about it.
