The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were both planned before the 2000 election and this was known by both parties. A coalition to invade Afghanistan was reported on in March of 2000 by Jane's Intelligence Review (not the laRouche publication, although even he knew it).

Aside from providing warbuckers, mercenaries, defense contracors and other assorted thieves and crooks with access to our treasury and in the absence of weapons of mass destruction or a credible threat to any other country, the only real legitimate reason for the invasion of Iraq was Saddma's "support" of "terrorism".

Just what acts of terrorism are we talking about and terrorism against whom did we invade Iraq for? Saddam Hussein offered a "stipend" of 20,000 dollars to the families of suicide bombers in Israel. That is why we invaded Iraq - to stop this "terrorism" against Israel. We faought this war for Israel and everyone in the adminsitration and congress knows it. Guess who the primary "reliable" source of intelligence on Iraq was? It was our staunch ally and friend and all of the neocons HYPED Israel as the source of this "intelligence" right up until it was obvious that we had been suckered. Then they stopped talking about how valuable Israel's "intelligence" on Iraq was to us. Now it is all "Curveball's" fault as if Israel had nothing to do with it at all.
