Enough Already

I have been against this crappy war since day one. Each time I read another report about mentally and physically wounded soldiers being denied the care WE OWE THEM it makes me sick.

I wish there was a card to send to all the troops asking for their forgiveness and a way to make the congressional reps. serve 12 hour days every day for a month in a VA facility or private home waiting on these hero's hand and foot. If the reps. don't take care of business within 48 hours of returning to DC, they are removed from office and barred from ever serving again....stripped of their benefits.

It's Simple

The US Constitution gives us freedom from religion, meaning that we cannot be forced to worship ANY religion.

The believers need to understand that they do not have the right to govern us.

Higher Education?

Churchill is as phony as his "original" art. The research is just a part of his fraud. He is not qualified to do anything more than blog and certainly should not be supported by the taxpayers.

No Surprise Here

It is a fact that the government takes our rights "for now" but keeps them forever.

Duh..

Mental health problems show weakness and only defective folks have such issues. Why take money away from poor performing over budget nothing to show defense contractors? After all, if we care for the soldiers as they should be treated it will likely cut out the funds needed to bribe the elected reps. And right now they need every penny to defend themselves from someone (Gates) trying to bring a little reality into spending. Just wait and see how much lobbying money it will take to maintain the status quo.

What A Shame

I do so wish there was a way to only elect men and women who walked the walk.

Yawn....Stretch

Those who have not lived think high school is the most important thing to ever happen in their lives. Only the living dead attend reunions.

Everyone else grew up.

Research Needed

What percentage of the population has not grown up enough to understand high school is a phase of life.....not it's definition?

Faux TV, by the time we hear of a new series it is gone because no one wants to see their drivel.

Original article: Rumsfeld denying GQ report

Nothing New

I'm sure the bible quotes were a fresh breeze under GWB's skirt. All it took was to convince him that dog had his back covered.

So...which religion is corrupted by crazy fundamentalists?????

Nice Try

Cheney is trying to brainwash the American people into believing that torture is a "family value". I'm relieved to see many are not buying it.

Fact....

If the folks of the USA don't wake up shortly....they'll be living in the USSA.

Boo Hoo

Lets be clear here. Tiller was not just an abortion provider. He was a man who traveled the world to perform late term abortions. Late term means that a viable baby is offed as it enters this world. The baby has it's upper neck punctured with an instrument that is then pushed into it's brain so the Dr. can scramble it. Want to bet they do this while the baby is still in the canal so it helps smother it's screams of pain? Tiller performed more than any one else in the world, and used this as an advertisement. Why revere someone who kills babies that in another circumstance, down the hall in neonatal intensive care, is treasured beyond price?

As much as I believe that women have the right to choose, Tiller is a sorry individual for the pro abortion folk to rally around. Most rational people can see a vast difference in ending a pregnancy in the very early weeks and ending it when a baby has been kicking and growing to almost born. He flaunted his sorry trade...and another murderer got him.

Abortion is legal and it should stay that way. But must there be no discussion of something that borderlines on barbarism?

Shatner 2012

John McCain should have ran with Shatner as the VP candidate.

What do you want to bet Sara can't resist attacking Shatner next?

Long Term Effects???? Safety Testing????

The government supported pushers have come up with another untested, and likely dangerous drug and the suckers can't wait to get their dose of poison.

If I were to break a mercury thermometer in the common hall outside my door it would require a Haz-Mat clean up. But as long as it's injected into infants, toddlers, school kids and pregnant women it is a good thing.

Eat right, drink water, exercise, and get plenty of rest. That is the best way to have a healthy pregnancy.

And "JUST SAY NO TO DRUGS"! Duh.

Preview Of Coming Attractions

The government that can't keep track of our honoured dead is not qualified to manage health care.

Wednesday, July 29, 2009 08:30 AM

@semiloon(full-loon)

Perhaps re-reading what I wrote would improve your lack of comprehension. You're dismissed.

Wednesday, July 29, 2009 09:30 AM

Hello!!!!

The government has zero credibility when it comes to managing anything.

How can anyone believe the folks who operate the care for vets, indians, medicare, etc. to deliver rational health care reform?!

Let's pay our debt off before buying more stuff. Isn't that how many individuals and businesses stay in the black?

Please ponder this. One bottle of 200 aspirin cost $.94. Each individual pill comes out to $0.0047. What is wrong with the concept that it is illogical to pay a health insurance company to give a hospital $7.00 for the same product? This is a bargain?

Perhaps outlawing health insurance, for-profit hospitals, industry lobbyists, and politicians on the take would be a good place to start. These added unnecessary expenses are certainly a huge problem that has been swept under the rug.

Umm...

Please explain the difference between performance enhancing swimwear (OK to wear) and performance enhancing drugs (not OK to ingest).

Thanka Heaps

It is amazing that the right-wing, X-tian, birther, Palinite fringe has so loudly and proudly polluted conservative principles to the point of making a joke out of the GOP.

Keep up the good work!......(she said dripping sarcasm).
