Please, Please, Please

I'll gladly do their job for $500K. After all, I can keep my checkbook balanced without help from any other taxpayers.

Oh Please

Only the religious reich haven't read that the GOP is out of power. Perhaps it should be added to the bible.

Inhofe

He makes the "Okie from Muskogee" seem like a rocket scientist.

My Story

The allergy tests and shots started for me in the 1960's. Constant nasal/er/eye irritation, bad reactions to common dust, food reactions. I could consume ten Benadryl/Actifed/Sudafed between breakfast and lunch.

The last shot I had was in 12/2003. What happened? I threw out all soaps, shampoos. cream rinses, lotion, makeup, perfumes and colognes, dish washing soaps, laundry detergents, fabric softeners, dryer sheets, cleaning supplies, you name it.

When all the scented, enhanced, chemical based stuff was no longer all over my body 24/7 my problem evaporated in less than a week.

All it took was a switch to organic products. The common chemical saturation of normal products had been killing me for decades.

My doctors reaction? Pure total skepticism followed by contempt at "my simple way of thinking".

I have used two bottles of off the shelf allergy pills in the 5 years since. My children and I are thankful and amazed. Because of the just plain contempt from the mainstream medical community, it's holistic medicine or nothing.

I AM NOT ADVOCATING FOLKS THROW AWAY THEIR MEDICATIONS! But it may be time to think outside the box and look at all sources of the poisons we are bombarded with.

Where Is The Forrest Gump Show?

Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, Joe the ?, Palin. The list is so long.

"Stupid is as stupid does".

EPA

What a relief. From the Enabling Polluters Association, to environmental protection in just a bit over two weeks. Cool!

Thursday, February 5, 2009 04:30 PM

Good Luck

I must say, I did lots of things at 16 that look very stupid at 50. Hopefully this child made the right choice and will not be forever regretful.

Imagine What We Can Do Now

Can't you just see the future photos of crumbling bridges being renovated, homes, schools, hospitals and public buildings weatherized and having solar panels and windmills installed. Power lines buried in areas of the country without electricity this winter?

I like that vision much better than the images of our war machine victims that bankrupted this country. Good work for Americas future may turn out to be the balm that heals our collective soul.

I Must Ask....

Just how can the gestapo PROVE what is in the bowl. All ass-u-me it was weed but all I see is a dude lighting a pipe.

Friday, February 6, 2009 09:22 AM

No Problem

Take all the salary and bonuses that total over $500K a year and tax it at 100%.

If one is on the public dole, there are limits to what income you can have. Just ask anyone on food stamps.

And....

...they lived happily ever after.

Puleasssse...

Why worry about our soldiers? Don't you realize that a photo surfaced of Michael Phelps hitting a water pipe?

(she said dripping sarcasm)

Sunday, February 15, 2009 07:33 PM

Enough

This is such a non-event.

There is an abundance of hypocritical behavior over an Olympian hitting a bong when the pros are endurance enhancing and puffing up on all kinds of banned stuff and banking millions.

(Logic suggests that Phelps was hitting a water pipe. No one can prove what was burning from just a photo.)

Ummmm...

When did the necessary funding for our vets current and future medical care get appropriated? I am so tired of getting these folks beat up, physically and mentally, and then being so thoughtless about their ongoing needs.

Hats off to those willing to serve, and contact your congressperson to get them what they deserve.

Grossly Old Peckerheads

Shelby is a southern Repub. He probably does not understand that Hawaii became a state prior to Obama's birth.

Ask him where Panama is. Bet he'll say it is a city in Florida.

Monday, February 23, 2009 08:11 AM

Laser Printer????!!!!

I had to get another copy of my birth certificate a few years ago. Hard to imagine, but the state vital statistics department printed one on a laser printer rather than trying to find a 1959 vintage typewriter to use. Don't believe me....order a copy of YOUR birth certificate.

(Funny thing...I did have to chose the "deceased" option since their program would not accept a 1909 year of fathers birth with a living person.)

Sunday, March 8, 2009 08:43 AM

Ah Ha!

Since we have a working extradition treaty with the UK, perhaps they will convict our war criminals there. At least they may be able to distinguish the difference between "looking forward" and "sweeping the dirt under the rug".

The Pope

Why do people go to an unmarried man for marital advice, and a celibate for sexual advice? It just isn't logical.

Original article: George W. Bush, author

Umm....

Isn't it illegal for someone to profit from their crimes? Bush better keep these funds in a special account so the $$$$ will be easier to locate when he hangs for war crimes.

Ha!

I've been saying that the USSA has steadily been rising out of the ashes of the USSR.

Duh

Is it finally time to use good old fashioned Chapter 11? These bone brains have stolen enough from us.

Monday, March 30, 2009 09:24 AM

Duh

Blue collar hell, white collar heaven. Follow the $$. Which paid more bribery, ur....., campaign contributions?

It's SSDD

Why fund science when there is a perfectly good drug war to waste money on???

Tuesday, March 31, 2009 08:15 PM

Yawn

I fail to see the reason for trying to call this tiny election as some sort of prediction of a national referendum.

Friday, April 3, 2009 11:30 AM

I Must Ask....

Is 'walking the plank' to much to ask for these war criminals?

Oh Please

Pot will be illegal until the powers can figure out how to assure their financial take of a plant anyone can grow.

Tuesday, April 7, 2009 08:28 AM

Yawn... Stretch...

Social contact is face to face. Needing a web site to make keep up with your friends means you have no friends. This wanna-be-a-high-schooler-again phase will pass.
