What a tired refrain. If you've bothered to read the letters to Joan's past 10 or so pro-Hillary columns, you'll see that the Obama supporters are not upset over any criticism, but rather only upset over unfair, illegitimate, petty, and wrong criticism.

How would you respond if people were constantly smearing with lies, half-truths, innuendo, rumor, and conjecture? What if there was a national campaign trying to cast you, Jedlbmm, as a secret muslim who isn't patriotic and you're really a radical poised to take down America from the inside? What if the national media scrutinized every person you've ever known and tried to ascribe their wildest beliefs on to you?

Would that piss you off a little? Would it piss you off even more if, when you tried to defend yourself and explain why the criticisms against you are completely invalid, people just said "Jeez, Jedlbmm, you're so sensitive! Can't you take some criticism? Why do you always have to cry foul to the refs?!?"

For the record and the last time - Barack Obama is not a flawless candidate - there are legitimate grounds on which to criticize him. But the attacks he's endured, here and otherwise, are so completely inane and absurd, that it's right for his supporters to be pissed. If you haven't read Glenn's column today, I strongly suggest you do so.

Just when you thought Hillary couldn't sink any lower in her blatant attempt to reframe the democratic race in terms of classism, she says that economists are elitists!

That's right - people who study and have advanced degrees and understand the REAL consequences of pandering policy band-aids are elitist!

I understand why uneducated people like Hillary. But in her shameless pandering to this base, Hillary occasionally serves up a deliciously disingenuous piece of stupid pie. Her Bosnia flapdoodle is but one example.

Now, she goes on with her bff George Stephanopolous (sp?) and he actually fires some tough questions about her ridiculous "me too" gas tax holiday. He asks her to name one credible economist who supports this plan. Her answer - seriously - economists are elitist, and she's not going to put her lot with economists.

And yes, she said this with a straight face.

She seemed completely deflated. If some of these superdelegates would grow a spine, this thing could be over this week.

The voters in Michigan and Florida also knew their primaries would not count, which significantly depressed turnout. It's not like the primaries were declared illegal after the fact!

What about all the voters who wisely stayed home those days because they knew voting was worthless? Won't they be disenfranchised if the MI and FL votes count now, Hillary?

This is really disgraceful. It's like arguing with a drunk - no amount of logic or reason will get between them and their 3 a.m. burrito.

Her true colors have never shined so brightly. This should really serve to comfort her former supporters who should now be lining up behind Obama. We understand you were misled by a lying, manipulative, megalomaniacal, power-hungry juggernaut. It's OK. We think you'll really come to enjoy supporting a candidate who has integrity.
