It may be a stretch, but I think possibly McClellan agreed to be the "author" of this book to change the subject for the benefit of the perps in the WH.
The WH will attack McClellans's credibility, integrity, say he's a disgruntled former employee blah blah blah. There will be a high-pitched coordinated effort to drown McClellan's message in a sea of doubt, which will be successful. There will be personal attacks from the WH and its surrogates, but there will be no efforts to dispute the claims/accusations in the book because they can't wage that battle successfully since it would focus too much attention on THEM.
McClellan was a willing fall-guy. In reality, loyal to the end.
She was not my first choice, but for many Hillary supporters, she convinced them she was the better candidate.
But, I guess you just can't accept that.
I pay little attention to you, but if you're an Obama supporter, keep it up and you will help ensure that John McCain wins in November.
...to agree to take the veep slot on the ticket.
1) If Obama loses, it's HIllary's fault.
2) If Obama wins, and his presidency is a failure, it's her fault.
3) If Obama wins, and he does okay as president, it's in spite of her.
4) If anything happens to Obama, Hillary did it.
Let him sink or swim on his own merits.
The way his supporters are acting, you'd think he doesn't need any of the Hillary voters.
Would that be your studies at those diploma mills: Monterey College of Law (unaccredited) and your theological "doctorate" degree from Emerson Theological Institute?
Just wondering....
I didn't see Joan, but based on your "report" I would say Joan was doing the country a favor by pointing out the flaws in Obama's approach to the healthcare crisis.
Why should she roll over and give Obama a pass on his inadequate solution to the problem?
It takes voices sich as Joan's -- along with the average citizen's -- to push these politicians to do the right thing. (And Obama IS a politician first and foremost!)
Right now, Obama's policy is flawed. If Joan had blathered on about how wonderful Obama's policy is just to diss McCain's policy, then you should be worried.
Good.
KOMO Radio in Seattle reported the rumor that Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) and Governor Chris Gregoire (D-WA) are being discussed as possible veepsters...
Yeah right.
Obama thinks he can mollify certain voters with those names!
...he makes a good case for Joe Biden.
Caroline Kennedy will pick herself.
Hmmmm. Could be that's just one more myth to add to the list of his alleged attributes.
I can hear it, "This isn't the Jim Johnson I once knew."
Yesterday Obama was defending him; today it's CYA for political expediency.
Kabuki is composed of three Japanese characters: 'ka' meaning 'songs,' 'bu' meaning 'dance,' and 'ki' meaning 'skill.'
Perhaps, Mr. Shapiro means this search for veep is just the same old "song and dance" but with little skill?
Ahhhhhh...not really.
The superdelegates put him over the top. He did NOT have enough pledged delegates to nab the nomination.
So, the voters played a role, but the superdelegates decided.

The strain of black conservatism that Cosby evokes has also surfaced in the presidential campaign of Barack Obama. Early on, some commentators speculated that Obama’s Cosby-esque appeals to personal responsibility would cost him black votes. But if his admonishments for black kids to turn off the PlayStation and for black fathers to do their jobs did him any damage, it was not reflected at the polls. In fact, this sort of rhetoric amounts to something of a racial double play, allowing Obama and Cosby to cater both to culturally conservative blacks and to whites who are convinced that black America is a bastion of decadence. (Curiously, Cosby is noncommittal verging on prickly when it comes to Obama. When Larry King asked him whether he supported Obama, he bristled: “Do you ask white people this question? … I want to know why this fellow especially is brought up in such a special way. How many Americans in the media really take him seriously, or do they look at him like some prize brown baby?” The exchange ended with Cosby professing admiration for Dennis Kucinich. Months later, he rebuffed my requests for his views on Obama’s candidacy.)
Not that it has anything to do with this story, but Ralph Schoenstein was the ghostwriter for Cosby's book, Fatherhood.
Lanny Davis believes that a coalition of centrist politicians focusing on core policies that appeal to the electorate marooned on that desolate middle ground can pull us back from the brink.
That's his sin. The left is suspicious. The right is suspicious.
But, Fox News???? Oy.

...with Hagel on-board as veep, they could be a shoo-in. Remember Hagel's electronic voting machine connections!
:-))
Same goes for me.
