War Room Quota
[Read the article: Dean: "We really can't have a divided convention"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I suppose you guys have to post SOMETHING to the war room, so maybe I should let this slide, but this isn't news. Nothing new here.

OMG Joan
[Read the article: I was wrong about Wright]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]All you're demonstrating is how out of touch you are.

All I know is
[Read the article: I was wrong about Wright]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I would HATE having to wake up every day and be Joan Walsh. I watched the Moyers interview and I was impressed with the man.
Ms. Walsh, Wright's in the clear here as far as most intelligent, well meaning people are concerned. The more we hear from him, the more sympathetic a character he becomes. And his desire to get out there and defend himself regardless of how it affects Obama's campaign really sheds light on where he is coming from. Just like when Obama made his speech on race.
These are people who want to address and speak out about real problems. They are serious figures in our national dialog. They will not let people like you run roughshod over the truth in this country. They will not let you hog the spotlight with your misinterpretations and baiting. You, on the other hand, exemplify "...a tale told by an idiot, filled with sound and fury, signifying nothing."
Why don't you get the hell out of the way and give some column inches to the people who care about making things better? Your time is up, Ms. Walsh. Time for the serious people to step in and take over.

Thank you so much for this!
[Read the article: What should Obama do about Rev. Jeremiah Wright?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]After presenting this set of opinions, we should be able to see more clearly how racially divided this country is. You have myopic white dude after myopic white dude talking about how Obama needs to reject wright and denounce his words, and then you have a black dude who actually gets it, saying, I wonder if all these white journalists standing around me have any idea what is really going on here"
But knowing Salon as I do, Joan Walsh has already dismissed Jabari Asim's points as the crazed words of another Obamabot, and not a single writer showcased in that piese actually READ the words of someone who actually gets it. And so we continue down this road of ignorance.

Obama's in a tough spot.
[Read the article: Obama responds to Wright]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As much as I want him to come out and stick it to journalists and pundits everywhere by saying, "You know, Wright's got a point, he's got a right to make it, and you should shut up and listen to him for a change", but he can't because backwards yokels like all those bitches from Texas on page one don't have the cognitive ability to understand what he's saying. Shame, too, because Wright is right. All he did was serve in the military for six years and help save LBJ's life. But because he's BLACK, and he's LOUD, and he says things that when presented certain ways sounds distasteful, all these uppity white idiots have to froth at the mouth.
When you look at it objectively, it's like all these Obama haters have a racist dragon inside them that has been awakened by Jeremiah Wright. Now they're all breathing fire. The can claim that it's not about race, but we all know it is.

Easley's a joke
[Read the article: Clinton, Obama pick up new superdelegate support]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Of course he endorsed Hillary. They're like the same joke, told over and over again. Easley is perfect for NC. He's a democrat in name, but actual progressives here in NC don't see him as much more than a place holder.

I saw Obama monday night
[Read the article: The gas tax battle continues]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]And he drove the point home wonderfully. 25 bucks is what McCain and Clinton offer with a tax holiday. It would send gas prices right back to where they were, uh, TWO WEEKS AGO. I don't know about you, but that's not relief.
I happen to think that gas is still not expensive enough to truly represent the cost of bringing it to us, and I think prices will have to go up even more before people are willing to invest in alternatives. But that's neither here nor there.
Finally an objective article in Salon!

You would have to be a complete idiot
[Read the article: Why Obama denounced Wright]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]to think that Wright is trying to hurt the Obama campaign. The degree to which people doin't get what is going on and what it's all about is soul-crushing. We really haven't made much progress with race relations in this country AT ALL.

Watch the hillary supporters ignore 2004
[Read the article: Obama camp files complaint against pro-Clinton 527]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Anything's fair if THEIR guy does it. Bad enough that they want to change the rules of the D party because they don't currently give Hillary enough of an advantage, they want to allow swift boating too. Disgraceful.

Another judas
[Read the article: Former DNC head switches allegiance]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]for James Carville to crucify!

WHAT UP HRC FAN?
[Read the article: Former DNC head switches allegiance]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How can you claim that Obama is paying off supers? I mean, it's reflective of how Hillary Supporters tend to be oblivious to what this new style of politics is all about.
I guess it makes sense because Hillary has been against building the democratic party from the ground up. She wants the power. She doesn't want the people to have the power. Yeah, so Obama spends money helping other dems get elected. CRIME! Obama supprts Dean's 50 State Strategy. TYPICAL POLITICIAN!
You guys know, of course, that selling your soul to the devil means losing your soul, right?

Electro Robot claims
[Read the article: Iran complains about Clinton comments]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]that if you so much as suggest you will go to war against another country, you deserve to be annihilated. Yow!
Bottom line is, the media cares more about what the pastor of a candidate says than they care about what an ACTUAL candidate says. Is anyone surprised?

Electro Robot
[Read the article: Iran complains about Clinton comments]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How do you make the logical leap required to get to Not Wanting to threaten nuking Israel = wanting to vaporize Iran?
Do you honestly think that Iran is ever going to attack Israel? I mean, do you have even the slightest understanding of how the world works?
I guess it makes sense. You're the kind of person that thinks everyone is by nature a little like you. hateful, violent, and uncontrollable. SO of course you would believe that anyone would bomb anyone for any reason. No need for commons sense or logic in your world. But then you're prbably a state fan too.
