there is a large number of youth in Iran who have no first hand recollection of the theocratic revolution that took place in Iran. Seems like if the US took a more even handed approach, we could be a true example rather than a constant threat. I just don't think the young people in Iran are truly bent on the rhetoric that the powers in Iran are constantly spewing. We can become something to hope for rather than something to hate.

I mean, he could have used anyone's name in the joke and it still would have been a really bad joke.

He's been reaching out to Hilary supporters for weeks now. Since before the NC primary. Granted, some Obama supporters continue to stir the shit, so to speak, but they are not indicative of Obama faithful. Hopefully the sour grapes brigade led by Geraldine Ferraro will learn a little something, regain their perspective, and come around to the unified party. Hillary supporters could chill on the hate as well, but that's like asking a dog to meow.

It's time for the "I like obama but he's not electable so I'm not voting for him" troops to hit the bricks.

Laurie, get off your FL and MI kick. If you can't recognize that counting a primary where only one candidate (thumbing her nose at the DNC) was on the ballot isn't a fair primary, then you shouldn't bother reading, caring, or thinking about the political process.

nice prejudice! Especially from someone whose name sounds just middle eastern enough to make you a terrorist by your own skewed world perspective.

  • Elizabeth Edwards is top notch

She may have been a better candidate than John.

I want FL and MI delegates to be seated. But to claim that hilary deserves for the delegate selection to be based on the outcomes of those oprimaries is disingenuous, and anyone who supports that is in essence saying that they're fine with their candidate benefitting from unfair practices. Hillary in the fall of 07 agreed with me. That's when she was the hands on favorite to win. it wasn't until she started losing that her tone changed.

If this doesn't mean anything to you, if you're willing to let that slide just because you want hillary to win, then I call into question your integrity. It's that simple.

Doesn't matter in the end though. Hillary can't win this. I hope you're ready to vote D no matter who wins.

"I am so glad that a man like you is lecturing women on what a feminist is... we definitely need a man to tell us how to think."

Because only a woman can be a feminist? You really want to head down that road?

Maybe stop watching so many sports movies? You can bring up every fourth quarter, come from behind victory ever won and nothing will change. A football game works differently than a political campaign. A basketball game works differently. Bringing up Joe Montana as a comparison to Hillary is just about the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Kinda funny that you're comparing a political rally to a rock concert.

  • Wolfson is very smart

[Read the article: Wolfson calls planned Obama declaration a "slap in the face"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

The Obama campaign changed their minds about announcing an insurmountable lead, but Wolfson has to stay on that horse as long as he can. It's definitely smart. It's softball, but you have to give the Clinton campaign credit for not missing an opportunity to speak out. Wolfson is earning his paycheck. There is no issue here.

  • WES, yep

And that's a pretty good strategy, too. Tomorrow will be the opposite of the May 6 primary. Obama will get a relatively close win, probably 6-8 points, Hillary will blow Obama away in Kentucky. The next day, another nine supers will go to Obama, he will have a lead that Hillary won't be able to top, and we'll move on to the rest of the states.

You seem to act like people doing what they can and should do is an unusual or bad thing.

have no meaningful correlation with general elections. That is to say, only a simpleminded goof would try to use primary stats to foresee the results of a general election.

  • If there's one thing I love about Byrd

[Read the article: Byrd endorses Obama]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

it's when he talks about his past. He hits the nail right on the head. He's apologized a thousand times, and he'll apologize a million times more. He's unique in that regard, considering we can't get Bush, McCain or any other republican to even ADMIT to a mistake let along attempt to make good on it.

    Well, except Bush quit golfing.

And yes, I've had a loved one die of cancer. I have another one on his deathbed as we speak. I choose not to go through life with a raincloud hanging over my head. Nonetheless I apologize for ruffling feathers. Apparently my mimicry of a Hillaryis44 subscriber was over the top.

People are as entitled to be turned off by your comments as you are to make the comments. I don't think Hillary is a whore, but I recognize your right to have an opinion.
