Again, I have to ask...
[Read the article: The iPhone's updates make it revolutionary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Why does this site seem to exclusively cover Apple products when reporting on computer manufacturers in the US?
I'm not a hater, I just think it's curious.

I'm so sick of this nonsense, I'm thinking about "doing something in the neighborhood" myself
[Read the article: Having it both ways]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How much "community involvement" do you think I can get for $50?

I'm sick of this stupid nonsense. I'm thinking about "doing something in the neighborhood" myself
[Read the article: Bob Johnson's after-the-fact apology]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How much "community involvement" do you think I can get for $50?

She should have mentioned that he loved her for her mind
[Read the article: WayLay]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Those delicious brains of hers. BRAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNZ.
-
Well, they do kind of have a point.
[Read the article: Spanking isn't harassment when everyone's included!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]In poor taste? Yes. Degrading. Absolutely. A sue-able offense? Oh yeah.
Sexual harrassment? I don't think so.
If men were being subject to this same treatment, how can a woman claim harrassment on the basis of her sex? She should have taken a different approach. I'm sure there's a whole slew of laws this business violated.

In other news, the sky is blue.

I don't understand what the problem is
[Read the article: I'm a busy single mom and I just don't want to date]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]LW,
You seem pretty content with your life sans dating. So don't date. What's the problem? Because other people offer unsolicited advice saying that you should? You don't strike as a person so weak willed that you'd live your life according to other people's opinions.
Here are some pertinent words from a man much wiser than myself:
Stop thinking, and end your problems.
What difference between yes and no?
What difference between success and failure?
Must you value what others value,
avoid what others avoid?
How ridiculous! Other people are excited,
as though they were at a parade.
I alone don't care,
I alone am expressionless,
like an infant before it can smile. Other people have what they need;
I alone possess nothing.
I alone drift about,
like someone without a home.
I am like an idiot, my mind is so empty. Other people are bright;
I alone am dark.
Other people are sharper;
I alone am dull.
Other people have a purpose;
I alone don't know.
I drift like a wave on the ocean,
I blow as aimless as the wind. I am different from ordinary people.

@Anon 9:08
[Read the article: I'm a busy single mom and I just don't want to date]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As for women not wanting sex, much of it is physiologically related, but much of it is just that men generally seem to do a lousy job of satisfying women (1/3 rarely/never orgasm? That would be a national crisis if it applied to men). I'm not going to criticise women for making a rational choice to be less interested unless they get a real spark and feeling that man is going to be great in bed.
I am sick of this type of gender-baiting bullshit that seems to infect more and more comments sections here at Salon.
Do a little research before you decide to wantonly assign blame to an entire sex.
Here, let me help you out (not that the facts matter much to you trolls):
http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn7481
Women who can't have an orgasm should see a doctor as it could be a physiological issue.
Thanks for playing.

Dear Mr. Right-wing douchebag...
[Read the article: The C-word as a political tool]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Save your Hillary attacks for after she receives the nomination. You're making those of us who have real reasons not to support her look bad by proxy.
Thanks so much.

Enough with the political dynasties!
[Read the article: Bill Clinton looks backward]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Are we going to be subjected to Chelsea's campaign eight years from now? Then what? Jeb Bush? This way everyone gets to exploit the inevidable backlash and nostalgia of the other party, and nothing will ever fucking change. ENOUGH.
psssst: Sorry, Hillary. You can't run a change and nostalgia at the same time.
And spare me the classical definition of dynasty. I'm sick of you Billary supporters talking down to me like this is my first time to the rodeo.

So she should be rewarded for being the only candidate who didn't follow the Democrat's edict?
[Read the article: Clinton: I'll take those delegates now, thanks]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama and Edwards weren't even on the ballot in Michigan!
Another reason I'll be voting for McCain is Hillary Clinton gets the nomination. Hey Hillary, instead of trying to cheat your way into the nomination, how's about coming out completely and unambiguously against torture in all it's forms (including waterboarding. You know, the way McCain did.
-
The fact that Edwards' delegate count doesn't jive with CNN could be very telling
[Read the article: John Edwards' "path to the nomination"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Could the fact the Edwards' delegate count favoring Obama betray some deal he's struck with Obama regarding the role Edwards would play in an Obama administration? I think this theory has been thrown about lately.
Could this mismatch in numbers reinforce those theories, or is this whole delegate thing just way too confusing?

We'll miss you, Tim!
[Read the article: A farewell note]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Love the War Room. Your replacement has some big shoes to fill!
Best of luck where ever you go.

You can stop fanning yourself with righteous indignation now
[Read the article: Life's a bitch, and so are all the anti-Hillary slogans]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It's not like you didn't see this coming. We all did. It's no different than what they did to her when Bill was president.
You should be happy. She can play the victim now and more women will vote for her who would otherwise vote for someone else. I wouldn't be surprised if she decided to "cry" again.
What concerns me about this is that it makes it easier for the Hillbots to dismiss those who have legitimate reasons not to support her.
-
Welcome!
[Read the article: A programming note]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Glad to have you on board. War Room is the reason I'm still coming to Salon. I look forward to your reports and analysis.

Classify this under "truthiness"
[Read the article: Clinton's primary night gambit]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This is exactly the sort of dishonest and desperate campaign tactic I've come to expect from the Hillary Clinton camp.
But...but...but....technically it's not campiagning. You know, she's just down there to catch some rays. It's very warm there this time of year!
Go ahead and label everyone who is justifiably critical of Clinton as a Clinton-basher, Wes. I know that makes it much easier for you to continue your support someone who sees the Democratic Party as a tool for their own ends, not the country's. I DON'T CARE how many democrats have been in the White House since 1968. This isn't a high school football game to me. Repugnant voting records and campaign tactics are still repugnant if they've got a "-D" after their name.
-
Yes, WES. I have standards.
[Read the article: Clinton's primary night gambit]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If that makes me an America-hater, so be it. I'll start burning my American flag as soon as I get home.
That is, if Hillary's flag-burning bill hasn't passed by then.
