Precious Indeed

Finally a sans flag pin wearing American with some ballz.

While her methods may be somewhat ill-advised, I applaud her anyway for some good old fashioned what my dearly deparated mom would have referred to as "gumption."

Guess I'm in trouble now, but it's not like I'm unfamilar to that neighborhood either.

Damn, if those Log Cabin Boyz aren't at it again...

For shame on ye.....

Hypocrisy I say...

WOW and there you have it....

I hope her flag pin didn't melt....

SWF Rolling Out the Vote

Hi Greetings from Naples Florida

The Naples Daily News (Collier County Rag) has reverted to quoting AP all of a sudden which is kind of amusing since they have historical challenges tabulating sports writers and Heisman Trophy balloting...

Anyway, they have it all-even this morning which is a bit of head scratcher to me especially with all the early voting that is going on here in Southwest Florida. Unprecedented numbers daily now....Very exciting, but the McGrump/Failin base is getting very nasty.

:-)

Onward!

No-No Na Newt

Newt, you need an extended TIME OUT someplace remote, really remote and PLEASE take those morons from FOX with you along with the campaign slogans and that Drill baby Drill drivel too....

The McGrump/Failin ticket will probably go down in history as one of the most ill-conceived, moronic and poorly excuted political campaigns of all time.

It's trash talkin and robo calls.....period.

Lot of substance there.

It's only fitting that follow the seated president in that regard as well....

For that matter take him with you too. No one will miss his early exit a damn bit.

Have a safe trip

Please Come To Florida

What a crock of shit! The race card has been played just under the covers if not openly here in Florida for six months..or more.

As an independent voter formerly from NYC, I was approached almost a year ago by people speaking in code.

They approached me again late this past Spring and I can assure you it was pretty transparent...

Maybe that's why I seem to be receiving an extra heaping tablespoon of Robo Calls...:-)

BTW those telephone filters aren't doing a damn thing for Rudy's linguistics either.

The good news is that people down here are lining up like crazy to vote early.

Meet the Press

God, (It's ok... it's Sunday) If I hear that "My Friends" salutation one more time I'm gonna puke....

Now with regard to "Meet the Press," I have a great idea and that is for McGrump to pass on the next invite to "Ms. Word Salad," his running mate

and let her fulfill the reasonable and requisite criteria of at least one legitimate press conference before the polls close.....And close they shall and soon too....

:-)

Original article: The better team?

Who Hot & Who's Not.....

Better team?

I would like to suggest that it's more of the up and down cycle of pitchers and hitters at the most opportune of times..coupled with of course the "I" word......injuries.

BTW, you won't know anything definitive about the injuries t'il the series is over...See: Franconna on Josh Beckett

Rays have cooled off demonstrably from the Red Sox series and whether it's fatigue vs the well rested Phillies it's all about carpe diem from here on in....

No matter how it plays out the Rays have been an inspiring group of young talent all year long so I'm tipping my cap to them.

Cristo Is No Fool

Times they are a changin....and this guy undoubtedly has national aspiriations.

I will be curious to see just how "close" Florida ends up. Early voting here is fierce and unprecedented in raw numbers. Dem ground troops appears to be on their game with lots of calls to offset the disgraceful Robo campaign...

Projections

Mainer:

Have you taken a peek at Five thirty eight.com yet?

They claim their projections are right the first time....Guess we'll see pdq here.

Interesting site all the same.

Carmen Darling.....

Shame on you for that omission....

I could use a break from the Robo calls here in FL.

Long Time Coming.....

A most intelligent human being with displayed leadership qualities and an apparent empathy for his fellow man residing in OUR White House?

Oh Heart Be Still..

Keep Truckin Bill.....

God, everytime I see those two words linked together, I get this uncomfortable twinge in the lower tract ...Argh! (It's the extensive history with kidney stones....sorry)

Hobbled as he may be what do you think the chances are that he might just indulge us and keep walking?

Exactly none!

That's funny....

Could you slow it down just a bit for those of us who didn't PG in the Evelyn Woods course?

Tks.

Original article: Condi Rice on Obama

Dispicable!

Joan:

God knows I love ya and the education that Salon has provided me persoanlly these past couple of years but why are you testing the fabric of that relationship with this drivel re: Ms. Rice?

In an administration where one lied and three swore to it, Ms. Rice gains no safe quarter here and shouldn't from you either..

She was Dispicable!

Put 'em on Pubilc Probabtion

No doubt Joe's stock has plummeted like so many others on the NYSE, but in his case it's solely self-inflicted.

Joe is pretty much dispicable by any modern day political standard.

Time for Harry Reid to use Lieberman in much the same fashion as he has used the Democratic Party for the past however many years. Loyalty is a wonderful ideal to behold, but what remains in Harry Reid's best interest is how this game is going to be played pure and simple.

Strip him down and let him reearn his stripes or toss him out.

The Thrilla from Wasilla.....

Promises....Promises

Oh please run.....

Don't know what her Adult Eduaction prospects are out there in Alaska but a GED equivalency might go a long way to supporting that Broadcast Journalism sheepskin....:-)

After all she's such a "quick study."
