Why are you posting here Thawk?
You obviously have nothing but contempt for this web site and its readers. You obviously have no chance at changing anyone's opinion. Why are you posting here?
I have an answer:
You are posting here just so you can be an asshole.
Let me guess, you are about 13 and on your mom's computer?
You are getting a real feeling of power by being a little shit?
Well, congratulations, I guess.
If there is, I can't wait to see it.
Stupid stupid stupid stupid.
Joan Walsh, did you approve this message?
Stupid.
But I have never used a bidet.
I use moist towelettes. Paper first, then finish up with an anti-bacterial moist towelette.
I don't know how flushing them affects the sewage systems. The literature on the container claims that it is no problem flushing them "one at a time." Surely they wouldn't lie.
If I have to go in a place where I don't have access to moist towelettes, I find a paper towel or something similar, dampen it at the sink, and use that.
But there is no way I settle for just dry paper. I will wait until I get home before I do that.
Dan Savage has, a) admitted he was wrong to do what he did in the campaign office of the extremist religious right-wing candidate, and b)surrendered to the authorities and willingly served the punishment he was given for his behavior.
I know that admitting you were wrong and actually serving your punishment is so alien to Republicans that you probably have no idea what I am talking about. But Dan Savage has repented his behavior and paid the price for his behavior.
So, really, keep bringing it up. It only highlights the bankruptcy of your position, and your utter lack of credibility.
Have a nice day!
He was in the dugout talking to some teammates about what a great hitter Manny Ramirez is. It was neat to hear how impressed he was with what Manny does at the plate.
The usual suspects, Elephantman, RIChris, and virtue001, can't criticize the lying hatemongers, but they can't defend it either. All they can do is say, "But your side does it too!" Of course that doesn't address the issue, but they have all proven that they are hypocrites with no credibility, so they prefer not to address real issues.
And our "reasonable" Republican troll, Readerreader, comes with the "Oh, it's not so bad. And anyway the media is just over-hyping it." nonsense.
The real issue is the fact that Obama is currently ahead in electoral votes, and without a big swing will be our next president. How are these people going to react to it? How are they going to react to someone as president that they believe is a terrorist? Is anti-American?
Will gunfire be part of their response?
McCain, if he has any of the honor that he has been credited with for decades, must do something about this. He must speak out against these spurious accusations. He must speak out against the hate. Not just once, as he has, but over and over and over, on national television.
He has been complicit in this rising tide of hatred, at least because he is benefiting from it, if not also as a cause. He needs to take some responsibility for it, and really try to stop it.
It is not to anyone's advantage for a president to be assassinated.
I am interested in learning more about this issue.
But since Clark-Flory hasn't published a written version about this, and is instead ineptly reading her column at me, I will be forced to read up about it elsewhere.
Really really really really Salon, stop with the Reading-Our-Columns-At-You talking heads nonsense. Especially inept amateur talking heads.
Once again, I suggest you look at King Kaufman's video presentations. They are infrequent, they are well made, and they actually have a reason to be produced as videos.
They are not pointless and poorly delivered, like the crap Tracy Clark-Flory regularly foists upon us.
You say Obama and Ayers are "pals." Justify that comment, if you can (you can't).
By your (weak, unsupportable) logic, Obama and Ayers are "pals," therefore Obama gets the blame for everything Ayers ever thought or did.
Using your definition of "pals," (i.e., they worked for the same body) McCain is "pals" with Obama. And McCain gets the blame for everything Obama ever thought or did, and by extension, everything Ayers ever though or did.
So, by your own definition, McCain is guilty of the same things Obama is guilty of, and as unfit for the presidency as Obama.
Now it's time for you to explain, with your weak logic and questionable facts, why that is not a "reasonable" conclusion.
Good luck.
