Was there nothing better to write about?
[Read the article: Good news in the fight against teenage abuse]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]With all the things that are going on in the world today, you choose to write about the TEAR organization and their appearance on Montel. Are you perhaps getting paid as their advertiser?

I Agree with the hot meteor
[Read the article: WayLay]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]There is nothing wonderfully deep here, perhaps you are looking to hard to make your self sound better?

Just put in the money
[Read the article: Our office manager is a dental despot!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You job is more important than the ten dollars you would have to put in to upgrade the ad. It is not a matter of the money, but the office politics.. and I have learned a time or two, it's best just to do it, even if you don't want to.. in the interest of saving your job and your sanity

Don't be a Sour-puss
[Read the article: Good news for cat ladies!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I really like this snip-it. I still would have loved my two precious kitties anyway. It is nice to see that we can talk about something a little more light hearted instead of having to save the world everyday.

I used to read SVH
[Read the article: Sweet Valley High goes on a diet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]When I was a kid this and the babysitters club kept me entertained. I would rather have them not re-release the books if they are going to butcher them to reflect our cultural decline. Those books were just fine the way they were. Just re-release with a new cover and I will buy!

I love it
[Read the article: My new start-up: I Google For You]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I have already gone from #533 to #344 in just three hours. Granted you did have to have lunch today though. Thanks for helping me with my paper!

I felt it was me writing that letter
[Read the article: I'm 21 and addicted to pot -- but I'm doing just great!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I, too, am an addict, but my life is great! I have a full time job, part time school, friends, family, and a saving account. I contribute to my 401k and get regular health check ups. I try new things, go on vacations, and work through my demons. I am better off the 85% of the people I know. Do I sometimes think it would be easier to not have to constantly worry about where my next "fix" is coming from, yes? But when I have it, it makes me happy and I am happy with my life with or without. The jerk off who says you lose personal growth obviously doesn't know what they are talking about. I am doing just fine.. and honestly, how many of you can say that?

Yeah, Chilled
[Read the article: Finale wrap-up: "The Real Housewives of New York City"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I agree. I take three classes a week, work a full time job, have friends, and volunteer. Nothing makes me melt and zone out than watching these housewives. I have plenty of things that I accomplish in my life. I suppose Goblin isn't one for relaxing.
Heather, I LOVED you analysis. I, too , struggle with the OC girls vs. the NYC girls. In OC they are so stupid an innocent, the NYC girls are much more intelligent, but with that intelligence, they sure know how to dig into people.
For the record, with Alex and Simon, loving your husband/wife is not a crime.
Can't wait for season two!

I like to cook...
[Read the article: How I learned to stop worrying and love the recession]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]and there is a Whole Foods down the street from my house. Before everyone lost their job, I would go to the Whole Foods everyday and buy the aged meat and cheese and have a lovely dinner.
Now..
I am broke, but as far as eating goes, I couldn't be happier. Down the street from my house, in the other direction, there is a discount food store. You know, one of those places that buys odd things in weird quantities so they almost never have the same thing twice and the quality is always questionable. I have to say now that I am shopping there, it seems as though each trip is an adventure. Some of the products I have never seen before, but tried and would try again (Indian Fry Bread for example, $0.50 and to die for)
I find my whole culinary world opening up to me. Instead of eating the same 20 things over and over again, my frugal-ness has forced me to try new things.
Black Bean Soup
1 lb black beans (soaked and drained),1 med onion minced,2 medium carrots grated,1 med green pepper,1T Each:Cumin,Chili Powder,Adobo Chili sauce,1 bay leaf Salt and Pepper
In a big pot, covered with water or stock for a long time,
dash of dijon mustard at the end
Blend
Garnish
Cilantro
Lime
Sour Cream
Enjoy!

Just Drop Out Already
[Read the article: Clinton math]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]It is a mystery to me why Hillary is even still in this thing. Of course, she would like to allow Florida and Michigan's votes to count, but because they did not follow the rules, they are unable. Is it a good sign of a future President to ignore the rules. We had a President ignore the rules for eight years and look where it got us. Hillary has lost and she is grasping for anything to get people to believe different.
Just step aside already and let Obama take his place as the nominee.

I see alot of Hillary Haters
[Read the article: Clinton math]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I was just reading through after I posted my letter and I have seen a few "I hate Hillary, but I will vote for her" one LW even went so far as to say he would spit on her if he ever saw her. If we hate this er, um, person so much, why vote for her? If it comes down to her and McCain, let's just not vote at all. I would hate to support either of those evil entities entering the White House and further ruining things. When it comes down to it, what does it matter if it's McCain or Hillary because both of them will drive this country even further into the ground.
