It would be wise before anyone writes an article or a letter on this 'clip' to actually watch the video of the sermon. It is available online. Rev. Wright was actually quoting a former U.S. Ambassador that he had seen on FOX News earlier that week. Those were the words of the Ambassador...a white man.

I'm sure this particular "White" Ambassador hasn't been on Fox News every week for the last 20 years...But it was a good attempt to lay the blame of elsewhere...

Nah, Taliesan...I like the new Government down in South Africa...At least they're in aggreement with Rev Wright that the CIA invented AIDS...It's nice to see that Magic and Witch Doctors are still useful in the fight against HIV...I am shocked that the new President only has 5 wives and that some are actually over the age of 15...But, Ces't la vie...

  • Sorry Taliesan

-It has been well documented that the government was sending drugs into the black neighborhoods of this country.

Oh really? Please provide proof or stfu...While you're at it, can you provide some national race based crime statistics?

I know how you feel...I'm sure if we gave the U.N. sanctions in Iraq another 20 years we could've limited Saddam to building only 5 new palaces a year (on the 10 billion in pilfered oil smuggling profits)...The real loser is Kofi Annan's son Kojo who was prevented from continued participation in the Oil-for-food voucher programme...Damn you George Bush...How dare you interfere with the good work of the U.N...

Ya, not much different other than rocks crushing skulls and the stomping of faces and sometimes rape of the women prior...All in all, very similar...

Maybe I don't understand the "nuance" of Religiously (Muslim) sanctioned rape and murder for talking to one's neighbour...I would imagine most men in the U.S. don't consult their preacher, priest or rabbi prior to killing their spouses...

If they are preached time and again that women are property, which was an acceptable concept right through the late 20th century, yes. They could beat up their wives and children because after all, they were property.

I've been going to church for nearly 40 years, right up to and through the 20th century and I've never heard this...But i'm sure you have the stats to link Christianity and brutal assaults on American Women and Children...

is that the DNC has introduced us to "new math"...Only in America (and some other trustworthy countries like Russia, Turkmenistan) can you actually lose the popular vote (Nevada, and Texas) and come away with more delegates...Watch out Pennsylvania...Hilary only has about a 12 - 14 % lead. I think I heard Donna Brazile say the other day that if Obama doesn't win the most delegates in Penn that this wouldn't go over well with the Black community...When asked "What if Hilary wins the popular vote by a landslide", Brazile answered "Popular What"?...

the real hard decisions are for Super-Delegates in Nevada and Texas...Do they vote based on Popular vote or on the vote-rigged proportional delegate winner...I think we should stick with Obama's and the increasingly shrill Pelosi's stance that SD's should vote based on the delegate winner for the particular state (Just to see Ted Kennedy, John Kerry and Bill Richardson vote for Hilary)...Lol...Too much...

So true...Hilary has a hard enough time winning the delegate total in states she takes the popular vote...So Cab, please explain this new math to me...

1 Senate win (Barack Obama) + 200,000 raise(Michelle Obama) = 1,000,000 earmark for University of Chicago Hospital. Expresion on taxpayers face = priceless...

Chris Matthews: So we all know Hilary Clinton eats little children and has Satan on speed dial...Dark forces are at work if she gets the nomination...I don't think Anti-Christ would be too harsh a word to describe her. Water boils when she walks by and toads fall from the sky...

Talking head # 2 - So you're backing Obama right?

Chris Matthews: What you talkin bout Willis?

Please factor in proportional delegates into your math...Obama needs to win 8% of the popular vote in each state to win the majority of delegates...Based on my math, if Barack is elected president his wife Michelle will receive a raise of approx 780,000...
