[Read more letters about this article: Here]What have you been "hearing" in the barber shops and do you agree with the commentary...I'm well versed in American and Global history. I'm also of Irish ancestry and know that my ancestors were treated horribly for a millenia by the British...But if someone told me that English nobility used to feast on Irish babies for breakfast I would probably be a bit skeptical...But hey, that's just me...

[Read more letters about this article: Here]As for AIDS being man made- ummmm, lots of white people beleive that to. There are actually two documentaries that i've seen that make the case. I'll say this. IF the US gvt HAD the technology to do so and release it on minorities, i firmly beleive they would. Just as i don;t know, and dont really beleive Bush had anything to do with 9/11, but do i beleive he is CAPABLE of it? Hell Yeah!
are you mildly or severely retarded?

[Read more letters about this article: Here]You seem like a nice fellow...I don't understand why everyone can't answer a simple question...Did Obama denounce his pastor comments today because he a) actually disagrees or b) this politically calculated to ensure white voters don't associate him with a preacher that has Black Radical views. Pretty simple question. Why is he taking the time out of his busy schedule repudiate a man/friend/advisor whose controversial comments go right back to just after 9-11 and up to Christmas 2007...Methinks we've only heard the tip of the ice berg when is comes to Pastor Wright...

You still have not answered my question although I think your question has been answered at several levels by many thoughtful posters.
I would like to know if you were as incensed when Falwell and Robertson blamed 9/11 on homosexuals, feminists, and atheists? What did you do about it? I'd just like to know so we can all collectively rid this land of all over the top demagoguery, starting with Wright, Robertson and others.
First off, I am neither a member of their congregation nor do I solicit their adivce or employ them in any fashion. So Madam It's quite easy for me to say they are morally repugnant. I am what some would call a lapsed Catholic. I have alomst weekly arguments with me wife in regards to the failings of the Catholic church but I still don't have the Pope on retainer. The only thoughtful response to my question so far was from Deloresflower. The problem is that I'm not asking about the social ills from our past that lead Black folks to believe these ridiculous conspiracies from the likes of Wright and Farrakan. I'm asking why it took so long for s seemingly intelligent person to denounce these ridiculous comments. Do you think he truly does not agree with Pastor Wright or was this done for political expediency.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]"and the preacher is a fairly great man who does not deserve criticism"
do you actually believe this nonsense...Please folks, please please tell me your're not in agreement with ridiculous statements like this. I'm sure even Uncle Fester couldn't agree with this.
Well it's been fun folks...To bad I had to hijack another thread because Salon writers refuse to view this as newsworthy. I'm sure we'll converse again when the rest of Pastor Wrights insights become public...
Cheers

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Well, I would imagine once the Penn Primaries and the re-vote in Florida and Michigan is complete you'll be singing another tune...Hilary has won NY, NJ, CA, OH, TX, MA (Thanks Teddy and John) most likely Penn (by a wide margin)...It's shame Hilary has also been screwed by the ridiculous proportional system put in place by the DNC. Imagine being a Hilary voter in Nevada where she won the popular vote but lost the delegate count (Friggen unbelievable). Or Texas where she handily won but barely scraped by in the delegate count. Hilary will have the lead in popular vote by the end of the primaries and the delegate count will be much closer than the Obama team lets on. Here's some simple math FL + MI = Hilary delegates. Now the DNC math is much trickier with proportinal variables that quite honestly seem tilted towards Obama. MI and FL need to be seated at the convention or the DNC will have disenfranchised millions of voters. Both states will be lost in the general election...This is Obama's last chance to win a big state. I would hope the DNC doesn't find a way to influence the popular vote in Penn but if history is my guidleine I wouldn't hold my breath...
