Original article: All hail the female orgasm

"Save for the fact eye contact is banned"? ...

That one line says it all.......There's no personal contact other than a disconnected physical sensation. So what's the point? ...Buy a vibrator or train Fido; but count me out...

Unbelievable congressional dog and pony show!!

They have the temerity to actually investigate a bonus and bailout deal that THEY set up and signed off on?! Maybe if they'd actually read the damn bill, we might not have this problem.. What the hell is hanging over Washington these days; an alternate universe?... Must be 'cause I hear Obama's going on Letterman. Good; maybe he'll bring along Chris Dodd and Barney Frank and do a little stand up act...........Yeah, I know; somehow it's all Bush's fault...I wonder how long that 'dog is gonna' hunt'.............

@myvoice...who can run AIG as well as the execs?

Gee, I suggest Congress could do a bang up job of running it into the ground. After all, they managed to overpay 78 billion for the first bank bailout. I know, that's peanuts compared to; what was that figure again? Oh yeah; 168 million. And it's only taxpayer money, so it's not considered 'real'... I can't wait for the next fiasco with Fanny and Freddi Mac; it seems they might have a slight overcompensation problem also... I'm sure Barney Frank is already preparing his 'feigned outrage' speech..........

Joe McCarthy isn't dead?

While you're turning over those financial 'slimy rocks'; you might want to look into the 'missing' trillions of dollars the GAO has been unable account for also...After all, if we're going to clean house; may a well do a thorough job.

Actually. he's the first half black president...

...Gee I know all the delusional biology dropouts out there need him to be 100% black for warm and fuzzy, feel good purposes; and the media quickly decreed during the campaign that he was, in fact. an African American; but it just ain't so...Still, it was stupid, pointless question, and off topic.

@ whispers

I don't believe I made any reference to "historical standpoints', as a consideration, or "rights". My observation was purely from a biological view. And on 'race'; not 'eye color'.. Try to focus those Rainbow Coalition eyes on what was written, not on what you wanted to perceive in order to make; what you must have though, was a salient point . I assume, using your reasoning, that someone that 'appears white', but has any African American genes is therefore "historically" black? I get the feeling the NAACP might disagree with you.... Although It is becoming apparent what's produced when you have one parent that's a half wit and another that's a dim wit..........convoluted conversations.....Then again I know a guy that's 10% American Indian and is part owner of a casino.....go figure...

Evidently, it takes a village to raise a village idiot...

I wonder if the reaction would be the same if these were boys?

@mikesultzer......OK I'll say it....

though I'm not really a strict Libertarien in any conventional sense of the term....Those girl aren't sex offenders, but they are just plain stupid and irresponsible. I find it strange that the same folks that have no problem with government intervention into everything from healthcare, birth control and education, are now surprised that a prosecutor has taken a law to the extreme. As Voltaire once said "common sense ain't that common".....And no amount of legislation or prosecution will ever change that.

@marcus sitz

"Getting carbon pricing right is, of course key. The utilities that are investing in SmartGrid (like Excel in Boulder) know that a carbon price is coming down the road, and they are not looking to build more coal-fired gen (and their regulators won't allow it anyway).".............................

.................The "key" to what; a return to the stone age? No, hopefully, they'll be looking to build nuclear powerplants instead, with zero carbon taxation... Then I guess, the government will just have to come up with another punitive plan. Maybe the "excessive concrete containment act"...Regardless, the consumer will still end up paying for it. You know, that same 'consumer' that breathes out carbon dioxide......Hmmmm there's an idea! Personal Co2 monitoring devices.

Original article: The poetry of Glenn Beck

I can't believe................

............this column required the efforts of two 'journalists' to compile. And apparently, neither one knows the meaning and application, of the word 'context'....

@AWChasse "Bush spent us into bankruptcy"....

And Obama is going to spend us out? Interesting 'logic'... Bush, thankfully, is gone. But I guess the blame game isn't... Yet, the concerns I have on the "Constitutional limits of presidential authority" still remain. Among them are: Forced government 'investment' in banks such as Wells Fargo and Bank of New York Mellon; that didn't want, or need, bailout money. The rewriting of private sector contracts; the intrusion into private sector compensation without citing any specific laws being broken; and the President becoming the defacto CEO of General Motors. Just a few small constitutional items you might want to consider..

@fightthetheocracy" That wasn't me taking what he said out of context, that was ACTUALLY what he said"

No, it was was taken out of context for you; along with the rest of the column; so that you wouldn't have to concern yourself with, you know, 'actually thinking' beyond what was presented...

@fightthetheocracy"... "In what context could "believe in something, even if it's wrong" possibly be interpreted positively.".......

I know this is difficult for some folks to wrap their heads around, but unless the context and intention of the remarks are known; and they are not; those that want to assume the worst, will. I don't know the context and it isn't presented in the piece. It's basically, a lazy compilation of soundbites that two guys with zero writing skills assembled piecemeal..BTW.. Have you read over some of these posts? They seem more hate filled than anything I've ever heard Beck say.. I'm not a big fan of the guy, and he's way out there where the buses don't run on a lot of issues. But I'll reserve my judgment until I know more.

@fightthetheocracy"...

I didn't "admit' or "defend" anything. I merely pointed out what I think are weaknesses in the article; that's all. You seem to take exception to the fact that my views don't fall within your particular framework of thinking, and as with most of the posts I've read here; seem more intent on 'winning' a perceived argument rather than having an objective discussion.
