I have been a Dem all of my life...I'm extremely liberal (if i thought a Socialist could win, I'd vote for them). I'm a female, age 52. I'm stuck in Ohio, but so are most of the people I care about. I'm a licensed Social Worker (MSW). And I cant believe--or understand--how Obama's supporters think it will help him to dis-enfranchise (the vote should've been done over) all these people! Esp. after FL in 2000! These people aren't going away--they're just going to vote McCain. (I'm not!) Just because poor whites are any easy target doesnt make them the enemy. Obama's biggest enemies right now are some of his supporters and his "church" (where i never hear anything about love or Christ--they're just hate-filled Bible thumpers --Old Testament style-like the neo-cons) I am an atheist. Can you imagine an atheist trying to run! Talk about prejudice. Alot of these people are SCARED. And they have a right to be. And most of them are not bigots, but , if Obama loses (Help us!) you'll have lots of time for victimhood to blame it on that. Sure there are bigots who would never vote for any minority race. Most working-class people i know and work with, are not that. Where's your compassion? Or at least respect for fellow Americans. Too afraid top go after the "Big Boys" still?

I'd have done a re-vote--another primary , entirely-in Michigan, for sure. In FL, maybe! Obama voted (sued?) to block this. Why?? Don't get me wrong. I hate the Clintons , too.

The Dems are going to self-destruct. Can't you save your hate for the neo-cons? If you don't, 527's are gonna roll all over Obama. From the voter-caging he did in Chicago, to the run against Alan Keyes (lol!), he's not prepared. He's got considerable charm--why don't you guys develop some? It's too depressing to watch. Yep, I said it, Keep on ranting misogynistic about Hillary and lose the Rust Belt. As for Obama's adviser for VP--I heard today "Kerry and McCarthy used him!" . Yeah, and lost. As for the Gov. of Kansas---I don't see the point there, at all.Why, just cause she's female? Let's try to "transcend" that... And, NO, I don't think it should be Hillary. Why don't we do something novel this time and let the candidates decide for themselves? There's not gonna be another Chenmey situation, if Obama is a strong leader, anyway. He's young. This prevailing hatred of Hillary really puzzles me. Obama seems to get along with her OK, most of the time. She campaigned for him in the Senate. Maybe it says more about YOU , than it does about Hillary....just a thought!

As a poor, white female (I went into social work--thought it would pay what teachers and nurses get--wrong)who used to LOVE Olbermann. Sure I thought he was a little sanctamonious and melo-dramatic at times (god, if he'd been a woman!!), but, funny, and an alternative to "Wolf". Then, he inexpicably began (w/wierdo cohort and former fat boy/hippie Matthew--HA!!) ripping Hillary a "new one" as they say. As an Edwards supporter, I was surpsied at Obama's showing in Iowa, but not disappointed. "Wow, that's great for Af. Am's and our party. Looks like its down to the 3 of them. I'l take any of them". So, I tuned in to MSNBC--Jeez!!! What' here! Check the channel--now I'd heard Matthews like that before, but--Olbermann?? What a disappointment! I can honestly say taht I think they have single-handedly done more to split the Dems thatn the GOP could ever do. It's not about HIllary--I never thought of myself as a radical "feminist". I was AMAZED at the misogyny! And it still hurts...I expected it from FOX and the GOP--not from you, guys,,,I began to believe that the prob. was that the producers of NBC had decided that CNN was #1. FOX had the right cornered. So, the left must want its own FOX News--they would be wrong, in this case. My support for the Dems (I'm a socialist) is predicated by my belief that, when they have the upper-hand (like now) that they won't sink to the depths of neo-cons and FOX News...you're really pushin' it guys. There';s a Socialist Cand., there's Cynthia McKinney, there's a write-in. I refuse to do that, as I wrote in a LTE in Jan, I think the GOP is trying to divide Af. Ams and poor whites in this election--worked pretty wellk, eh? I try to just listen to OBAMA and ignore his minions, whom he does not control (he should try!)

It's unacceptable for men who call themselves liberal or progressive...they'll call me an "angry woman" --or worse...How bout some help. guys? Or do you just want to throw us under the bus--do u think you can stop injustice against one "faction" minority , by imposing it on another? How bout Hispanics/Latinos? Let's all splinter up here, so McCain can get a good shot at us.

I fear you may be revealing alot more about yourself here than you are promoting your chosen candidate.You're NOT helping Obama. Are you a secret McCain supporter? Why don't you send all your posts to Obama's site--and watch him dismiss them for the misogyinistic drivel that they are.
