A fine takedown.
I post at http://pruningshears.us/ and there are currently 10 semicolons on the front page. I never thought about sociological implications, I just like the fact that it can create an "intermediate pause". When I want to continue a train of thought, don't want to come to a full stop, and don't want to create a run-on sentence the semicolon is really useful.
Thanks for passing that info along. "Now that I know it I shall do my best to forget it." (http://senseilearningandperformance.wordpress.com/2008/07/28/what-is-that-to-me-or-my-work/)
Couldn't he now reluctantly conclude the bill in its current form is unconstitutional and he has not choice but to oppose it?
One question for the folks at NRO: What is the minimum length of time required for a complete reversal of position to be an "evolution"? Doing a 180 in half a year clearly requires some kind of semi-intelligent design.
Minor correction.
