  • Can Someone?

[Read the article: "Name some of Barack Obama's legislative accomplishments ... if you can" ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Can someone tell me all about G.W.'s accomplishments before he was elected? How about Bill Clinton?

How valid is this argument? Barack's campaign is about change from the status quo. Do people really think that if he were elected that decisions would be made blindly? That the man doesn't have a level head and would surround himself with a well-informed and competent people?

  • It goes on,

because too many corporations have chipped in her campaign. Those strings are a heavy gauge.

  • 3rd Party Legitimacy

[Read the article: What will Nader say on "Meet the Press"?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I find it strikingly odd to see so many democrats afraid and angry of 3rd party nominees.

Most people are still confused by the 2000 election and continue to peg Nader for Gore's loses. Even Gore doesn't see it that way. We should take notice in this election we have major nominees making the same arguments Ralph Nadar brought to the fore front in his 2000 election. (i.e. corporate governement)

The Democrats are different this go round because they have a strong candidate. Still, I'd like to see the Democratic nominee extended a hand to allow the 3rd party candidate, Ralph or whomever, and ask that they are allowed to participate in the debates.

3rd parties are often tied to calling attention to the injustices of the current system. It's important that we continue to not only allow their voices to be heard, but to listen.

Ralph knows he wont' win. He won't take away precious Dem votes either. Like he said, if the Democrats can't win a landslide victory based on the last seven years and with McCain's promises of "the same," then we really have problems.

His candidacy will, hopefully, make the two-party candidates be more honest. If only they would let him debate. He has a better understanding of the issues and personally, I would like to see him question Obama further on his fight against special interests and the like.

    Seriously?

Hillary Clinton is the underdog in this race?

I'm so tired of the analogies.

  • You don't "win" primaries by popular vote

[Read the article: Obama insists losses change nothing]

Especially by less then 3% between your own party.

  • I agree with others

[Read the article: Was Obama's skin darkened for Clinton ad?]

We're seeing these irrelevant posts all too often these days.

    Emotionally-charged garbage.

    No thanks.

  • Another Day,

[Read the article: Obama advisor calls Clinton a "monster," apologizes]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Another collection of meaningless banter to distract us from what's really at hand.

  • Waste of Time

Unless Hillary can win every state by 60% + from here on out (including a re-vote in Michigan and Florida) AND convince 75% of the remaining superdelgates to vote for her this primary is over.

Since when did the popular vote start counting in this country's elections? ;)

Traditional Republican attack ads are going to be all over the place the next five months....

But if you're just tuning in, Obama's campaign doesn't sit on their thumbs when punches are thrown. They come back fast and with style. Couple this with over twice as much fund raising as the GOP and these ads won't hold any water with any potential Democratic voter.
