It amazes me how so-callled liberal feminists white women love to hide behind ignorance of fact to get their point across. This is why I got out of the Pro-Choice movement because the women that run Planned Parenthod and NOW are a bunch of RACISTS!

Black women weren't forced into abortions - didn't have to be - because they were sterilized against their wills! "Mississippi Appendectomy" is what my folks called them. We couldn't trust the medical establishment with something as simple as birthing our babies or sound gynelogical care - even middle-class and upper middle class black women were sterilized without their knowledge and/or against their will.

When I was working with these so-caleld womens' groups in the late 80s, the argument was all about "reproductive choice" for the white girls and "population control" if you were darker than a brown paper bag. I sincerely doubt tht the philosophy has changed.

Oh, and let's stop using that bullshit tagline of "pro-choice". You cows are "pro-abortion". You honestly believe that the only women that deserve to be parents without question are the white, middle-class white women (which makes up almost 100% of Planned Parenthood and NOW's governing membership - and members).

I said in my original post that I had worked with Planned Parenthood, NOW and NARAL during

Bush I. And that experience made me veer as far away from organized white feminist groups ever since. As I said, "reproductive rights for (white) you" BUT "population control" for me. Margaret Sanger lives in the heart of the white women who run (into the ground) the American Feminist Movement.

Do I believe that all white women believe that only white women should have children? Well, white middle-class women rarely think past their noses, just like white men. They do place a helluva lot more value on their families than they believe people-of-color place on our families. Perhaps that explains how white women have managed to zone out on children killed in bombings in Iraq, African-American children floating on top of roofs at the height of Katrina (then of course focusing on the crime of looting as opposed to the Bush government looting).

My experience: white wmen are just as racist and short-sighted and "I'm the real victim" as white men. White women hitched a ride on the backs of the Black Civil Rights movement, used it to promote their own agenda, and then lined up with the white powers that be (natural, since that power was their fathers, uncles, brothers, husbands) and kicked black folsk, especially black women, in the teeth.

GO TO HELL with your opinion that the Pro-Life movement's "black genocide" campaign is detrimnetal to my community. Worry about your own. Decide what works for your community and I'll decide what works best for mine. Believe it or not, black women do have the ability to think for ourselves. If I do not choose your agenda, it doesn't mean I'm ignorant or have been bamboozled, it's that I believe your Agenda is full of shit.

Hey Anon, why are you more upset over the pro-lifers Black Genocide campaign than you are the sucessful campaigning they've done on poor young white women in the South, Southwest and suburban/rural enclaves? Do you belive that poor white women are more entitled to their (in your opinion) flawed decisions than black women? Why do you feel you have a right to have an opinion about the reproductive decisions of black women anyhow? How many black women are you personally close to? You know, where you are close enough to actually have this ocnversaion or any conversation with, for that matter?
