Original article: Our first black president?

Maybe you should be ore concerned about the Dems losing the until-now loyal black vote

Re: "That's amazing; he won 25 percent of the white vote in the South, against a white male native son and a CLINTON!"

Those numbers in a general election add up to President McCain.

Hillary cannot beat a Republican - any Republican. She's hated - severely, and she (with her old man) has a lot of skeletons in and out of the closet that will be used successfully against her.

If she does win, WE WON'T. She'll do just as she and Bill did before - trade off to the right side of the fence to keep their power in check. So, "don't ask don't tell" will stand, draconian drug laws will stand, no resolution to the health care and medical care crisis, the poor gettin' poorer, and their allies that put them in a bad light or question their decisions will be thrown under the bus with a quickness.

The thing is, Hilary was supposed to be running for this office. What does she do? Go out and get her old man to fight her battles, so the Right was right- it's Billary, a two-for-one of corruption.

Don't expect the black and youth vote to stick around. The Republicans aren't stupid. They know how to appeal to blacks and will, now that they've sort of alienated the Hispanic vote. The old black guard - sure, they'll stick by the Clintons. But the new black voter, the ones that have been voting and registering this year - they're not showing up for Hillary. Andrew Young and Bob Johnson can't deliver a pizza, much less a vote.

And you can stop shaking the "racist republican" boogie man over our heads. Black folks have survived Reagan, Bush I and II, and that asshat Nixon. We ain't afraid of McCain or Romney or even Guiliani. Because we know that at the end of the day white liberal Democrats have been talking loud and delivering nothing of substance to us.

Hillary is screwed. And you white Liberals have been exposed as being the closet paternalistic racists that the Right always said that you were. You love you some black folks as long as we sign on to your worldview and it benefits you first and foremost.

The Clintons have torn their drawers with Black America. I regret my two votes for that rat bastard.

Go right ahead and say it - I'm used to it

My purse was stolen by a black woman this year. Should I say, "ook, you black folks stole my purse?"-- thingswesaid

What does this life event have to do with race in America, the Obama campaign, paternalistic white-liberal racism, or me and any other black person?

Get your i.d. replaced, file a police and insurance report, and please don't bore me with the details of your life. The fact that you even broughtthis crap up proves that you believe that every blac person owes you an accountability.

Would you have been happier if he had taken a brown crayola to the picture?

Hillary ran ads featuring her mother and daughter in Iowa a nd NH. Nothing unusual - all politicans use their families in this manner to humanize them.

Ms. Walsh proves that it is MSM - and from why I see particularly "liberal" MSM, that is obsessed with Obama and race.

His mother is WHITE, OK. By showing his roots, he pandering to white folks, becoming race-neutral? Just last week you were complaning about Obama identifying "too black".

Hillary is may win the nomination, but she will lose the war in November. Why? Because the Democratic base, i.e. African-Americans, especially young African-Americans, will not turn out and vote for her. She will need the enthusiasm that Obama has stirred up amongst the young and voters of color - and we're going to remember the race-baiting in the primaries. Politicans have short memories. Voters do not, especially those of us that keep placing our votes with political opportunists that deliver nothing once elected.

Those last-minute white female voters that got her over in NH -they'll go for McCain, as in every election they'll vote with their husbands.

Those new/young African-American voters know nothing of Reagan and aren't as anti-Bush as Carville/Clinton & Company would like to dream.

This may be the year the Republican permanently regains a nice slice of of the African-American vote, just like the old days until Nixon.

The Death of Marlo...

My money is on the Greeks sending Marlo home to meet Jesus.

Omar will take out his crew, including Michael. Snoop and Chris will have excruciating, slow deaths, and in an almost anti-climatic moment, the Greeks will slay Marlo. He's got to go - no loyalty to family, crew - he's uncontrollable.

Sticking to my guns

When I first heard rumblings about a Hillary run for president in '04, Iknew that I would not support her. The Clintons were, and still are, ruthless users and opportunitists. I'm an Illinoisan and supported Obama's senate run, but had severe reservations about a presidential bid.

Last year I said that I would vote for Guiliani in the general election if Hillary wone the nomination. My first choice on the Dem side was Richardson, Edwards and Biden. They're gone now. And I still despise how the Clintons have used black voters as nothing but a means to their own selfish end and gave nothing but bullshit-platitudes in return.

Tomorrow I am voting for Obama. If Hillary wins the nomination, I will vote for McCain (or Huckabee, or Romney).

And all of you so-called progressive/liberal types who think Hillary will wipe the floor with the Republican nominee? WRONG, dead WRONG. The new voters that Obama have brought to the primary poles won't be coming back, and the that Conservative machine will run right over Hillary's ass, just as that machine ran over Carter, Mondale, Duckakis, Gore and Kerry.

The Clintons represent that status quo Democratic party still offering no real ideas for changing policy and procedures. Hillary still campaigns under the "at least we're not the Republicans" banner. Ain't gonna fly.

I'm black, female and middle class. I have thrived well under the republican regimes.

And could give a damn if Hillary has a new job January 21, 2009.
