We see dead people
[Read the article: We see dead people?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Houdini set out a plan as to what he would do if it were possible to communicate from beyond the grave. It didnt happen, there was no communication. If it could be done I feel Houdini would have delivered on his promise. It seems to me that the researchers she spoke with fall more in line with the Intelligent Design people. They claim that they are doing scientific research, when really they are just looking for things that seem to confirm that which they are already convinced and ignore everything that does support their position. Too bad she didnt bother to talk to James Randi (www.randi.org).

What drives Bush
[Read the article: For Bush's plan, opposition from both sides of the aisle]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I was just wandering if anyone else out there is starting to worry that Bush thinks God has told him to start Armagedon?

Bush's Problem
[Read the article: "All of the bad guys in the Middle East are in Iraq"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Bush’s new strategy resembles a little boy trying to glue the cookie jar back together because in a temper tantrum to satisfy a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein. This Administration has broken Iraq beyond fixing, it can’t be repaired it can only be reborn. I’m not sure we can control the shape it takes by any means.

NCAA Tournament Day 1: Running commentary updated throughout the day.
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Oral Roberts? I was born and raised in Oklahoma and one of the many reasons I moved 1200 miles away was to escape Oral and his nutzoid followers. They don't call Oklahoma the buckle of the bible belt for nothing. Although, ORU, at times, has produced darn good basketball teams.

Of Obama
[Read the article: The "plagiarism" problem]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The problem with Obama is that is he is in too big of a hurry. It seems he has a problem finishing things. The only reason he completed his first term in the Illinois State Legislature is that he lost his bid for a US House seat in 2000. Before he finished his second term he was running for the US Senate. He won a 6 years term in the US Senate, but barely served 2 years before he was running for President.
If he was able to accomplish all there was to do in that short of time I apologize, but if there was still work to be done then why didn’t he stay and do it before moving on? Assuming there was still work to be done Obama starts to look more like someone who’s driven by ego instead of a desire to help America. It would seem that he is more interested in getting to the top as fast as he can than he is in helping people.
I would be more incline to vote for him if he had accomplished major things at each level but he didn’t. He has done little but scramble for the top as fast as he can get there.

Of Obama
[Read the article: No Hail Mary for Hillary]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I try and like Obama but I just don't believe him. When you look at his record he seems more driven by ego than desire to help. He has only finished 1 term that he wasn't running for another office.
I hope I am wrong but I truly think he is a George McGovern at worst and Jimmy Carter at best, both of whom I liked but neither is what our country needs now.

Obama Registration Drive
[Read the article: Who wants to be a Democrat?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If you have to register Republicans and Independents to win, it sounds more like outsiders trying to take over rather than Democrats picking a Democratic Candidate.
Obama is quick to say he will reach across the aisle for solutions rather than the conflict of the past, but he fails to say what he is willing to sacrifice to avoid a fight.

Will We Ever Learn
[Read the article: The Bus is on the bus]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The Democrats started this primary with a really good group of candidates and looks like we are going to pick the least qualified of the bunch because he talks pretty.
I truly hope I have to eat these words but it appears we, the Democrats are preparing to shoot ourself in the foot once again.

Obama's Gift
[Read the article: Obama and the white working class]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama gave the Republicans an early Christmas present. If Obama is the nominee there will be video plastered all over this country of him saying people in small towns are too stupid to understand economics so they vote for the wrong things and cling to their silly guns and religion.
Stop right there, I'm not saying he said that I'm telling you what swiftboat types are going to be plastering everywhere. Obama will spend the entire campaign explaining that is not what he said instead of being able to stay on message.
Republican strategist are already dancing a jig.

Sometimes it is better to loose
[Read the article: Obama takes superdelegate lead?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Sometimes it is better to loose.
If Dukakis had won in 1988 he would have been blamed for all the stuff that George the first got blamed for ( the true blame belonging to the Reagan Administration) and the permanent Republican majority that Karl Rove dreams of would have been put in place in 1992.
Obama is driven mainly by ego this is demonstrated by the fact in his entire political career he has spent more time campaigning for the next office than he has doing the business of the people who elected him.
Everyone falls for a fool’s mate the first time, while Obama is trying to figure out how things work and why Republicans won’t go against their special interest when he asked them so nicely. The Republicans will set him up as the creator of all that is wrong in our country.
As I have said before as Jimmy Carter got us 8 years of Ronald Reagan I shudder to think what an Obama Presidency would get us.
