Original article: The Sarah Palin pity party

Gotcha!

As Palin/McCain sat with Katie Couric trying to seem simultaneously determined and victimized, I felt simultaneously and nauseous and insulted. He looked on proudly as she answered questions, with yet more rhetorical talking points, as if she were his granddaughter and he was holding her hand through her first job interview. Then stepping in for her to blame "gotcha journalism". Apparently this was a new sound bite he instantly introduced her to and she liked it, giggling at new catch phrase. Then a moment later she tried it out herself. It is no doubt going to be heard a lot from them both now.

I would like to know who are they going to whine to when Iran and Russia and China start playing "gotcha politics" or pulling out a few "gotcha diplomacy" tricks.

Criticism or Insult?

It is completely fair and necessary to criticize Sarah Palin's shortcomings. Just as we would, and do, those of Joe Biden's (It just happens he doesn't have as many, so obvious and humiliating as hers).

No one is "insulting" Palin. She's insulting all of US.

Great Debate

Biden will be able to teach John McCain a lesson in class. Instead of talking down and refusing to look at his young, upstart opponent, he can sit back and patiently listen.

If he does this, he looks paternal and wise and she... well, she hangs herself (but undoubtedly will still further solidify the right).

Obama was successful and here is why:
