MSNBC

In your article you mention that the kind of coverage Hillary gets on MSNBC is not the kind she needs. I don't understand this antipathy displayed on MSNBC. They badmouth FOX but at least fox coverage is uniformly anti-liberal. On MSNBC there is no veil on the anti Hillary bias. Is there a place on TV where I can get some political conversation that is not dripping with anti-Clinton Bile. The only male usually seen on MSNBC political coverage making an attempt to give balanced coverage is Pat Buchannon of all people. Olberman has been hanging out with Chris Matthews too long. Where does a politics junky go for some realistic coverage? I have been a Hillasry supporter for a while but was giving some consideration to Obama until the New Hampshire primary. Watching that fiasco of coverage by Chris Matthews , et al, I filled out my absentee ballot and sent it in the next day. Then they wondered how race came into the campaign? Don't they ever listen to themselves.

sexist vs racist

He says words matter.

If saying an opponent lacks experience is a racist statement then using even a much stricter standard his comment is very very sexist. ' feeling down periodically'. periodically? You would wonder why he said it if not as a sexist slur. It is not an ad lib.

In his reply to 'words are cheap' he quotes Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence, 'that all men are created equal'. Thomas Jeffereson had a little over 130 slaves when he died. He freed a few in his will. But 130 were sold at the estate auction after his death. So if we counted on Jefferson to put that sentiment into action we would have been sorely disppointed.

What do Obama's inspiring words mean? Will his words sweep away the senate rules or the lobbyist's influence? Does he plan to rule by signing statement like Bush? Does electing one man change the system? Wake up.

So are we all equal? Are women to be treated as equals in the political arena? Will women get equal pay for equal work? Will cable news ever stop it's frat boy towel snapping sexist ways?

Don't tell me he has daughters. Every woman in the history of this country has had a father, at least in the biological sense. If they had all worked for the equal treatment of women Senator Clinton would not be the first woman treated as a serous candidate for president.

it's not the bitter but the clinging

The bitterness is not really the issue that hangs on Obama. It is the presumption to say that bitterness is the reason people facing economic difficulties 'cling' to guns , religion, or anything else that seems less appealing to the economically more advantaged. It is the idea that he speaks about people living in a situation he does not come from as the 'them' and does so when speaking behind closed doors to his 'us'.

He does not need to attack Hillary.

There are entire cable networks who love doing it for him. It looks like the Clinton campaign has not been particularly well run. Is that Sen. Clinton's fault? Who knows. So much of the coverage is outrageous that it makes all of it suspect.

And on the other side Sen. Obama sends out his surrogates to say that whatever bad story is up will be over in 2 days. Then like Jedi mind control is working on the media, the story drops out of coverage. At least until last week that was the case. Why is Senator Clinton talking about it instead of letting the press keep Obabma in the hot seat? She knows about that Jedi Mind control.

opiates you confuse me

Seriously. You don't think that religion or spirituality has a place in dealing with death? Or am I misunderstanding. I have been known to do that on occasion.

Can't comment on the debate. It won't air here for a couple of hours.
