"Whiskey" was NOT the name of Echo's personality when with Alpha. Whiskey was the name of another doll, played by Amy Acker, who had previously been imprinted with the same personality.
It was a pretty important plot point, actually. It makes me think you weren't really paying attention.
This article makes me ill. Alan Grayson is making a powerful argument using facts to back it up. He is telling the truth. How is that ANYTHING like what Joe Wilson did?
When is someone who cranks out this propaganda masquerading as "seriousness" going to get a clue?
What is the motivation for publishing this garbage? Who wants to read this stuff? Who is benefiting from it?
Quit it with the "they're all the same" crap. They're not. Most of the readers here are not stupid enough to be lulled into believing it by your phony-ass "reasonablness."
I'm still waiting for you to explain why you are doing it. Is there some shadowy group in the background, other than your putative employer, that pays you people to spew concern-trolling false equivalency in every venue they can find?
That's the only reason I can think of for pseudo-liberal tools like you, Joe Klein, David Gregory, Broder, etc. to be doing this, over and over and over.
To quote Jon Stewart: "Please stop hurting America."

Grayson said this stuff A MONTH AGO. IT IS NOT NEWS.
Now if he'd called her Hitler, that'd be news, right?

The childfree nastygram brigade came out snarking in force. They have nothing better to do between their 8 PM dinner and their latenight martinis.
Salon was once itself quite the perpetrator of anti-mommy-ism. I seem to recall a spate of "Mom ruined my life" articles appearing, ON MOTHER'S DAY, in this very publication a few years back.
This anti-mom attitude isn't really new, it's just that everyone here grew up and started to notice it, and assumed it hadn't been like that before.
