People think everything should remain as it has been for the last couple of hundred years when there is absolutely no reason at all to think this. Moral Inferiors are people who preach hate while claiming to be righteous. They will employ lies and use scare tactics in order to try to win an argument. They will ignore facts presented unless the facts are presented by other moral inferiors. Moral Inferiors are most often conservatives, members of the Republican party and staunch Christians.

Moral Inferiors are instantly recognizable if the subject of atheism comes up in conversation - they will say they don't understand how atheists can be moral people if they do not believe in god. This proves the inferior morals of these people - they admit they themselves have no inner moral compass and must rely on reminders written down or relayed each sunday.

That's what people can't stand - hypocrisy. There was plenty of outrage over Spitzer, because he was a hypocrite.

Liberals generally don't give a crap about who is sleeping with whom; it's the hypocrisy that demonstrates a moral failing far more serious than any sexual escapade ever could be.

Really though, what I want to hear from Sanford is an apology for, and admission that, when he went after Clinton during the Lewinsky affair it was merely an excuse to try and damage the administration.

Sure, if it's not safe, it's not safe, so go.

But. What if one of your children starts exhibiting the same sorts of behaviors? It's not beyond the realm of possibilities, as these things have been shown to have a genetic component that predisposes some to having these problems.

Have you, LW been to couseling to learn how to cope with this? It seems odd that you waited until she was "nearing completion of the treatment" to tell her that you would leave if she acted out again. I'd expect that to be said as she was starting treatment, not at the end of it. If you had been educating yourself about this disorder, you'd know that it takes ongoing management, it's not solved by a stint in a "treatment facility" (as if any mental disorders ever are).

So, I ask again: What will you do when it is one of your children who developes this disorder? Will your solution still be to just call the men in white coats to cart them away when they get out of hand? And then if the child is not "cured" will you threaten to oust them from the family unit. Maybe you will go drop off the crazy child with crazy mom and wash your hands of it. Or will you actually educate yourself in an attempt to help your child?
