Visit to two different college friends

This summer I visited two old friends. One has a huge perfect home with perfect decorator furniture in a perfect decorator neighborhood and wears perfect designer clothes on her perfect designer body. She lives near malls, and shops and goes to the newest 'in' spots on her days off in the city in which she lives.

The other friend lives simply in the mountains. She grows much of her own food, and spends a lot of time going to free concerts and working at a local animal shelter. She makes maybe one third as much money as the other friend.

Guess at which friend's home I felt better? Guess which friend is happier? Neither friend is married, but guess which one is less anxious about it? Both suggested I move near them when I can (I am considering a move when the time is right), and the one who make the most money even can help me with a job.

But the mountain friend's life style is just so, well, real. She is so much more at peace. I think she is on to something that many of us hear deep within our soul but we seem to be ignoring.

Inhofe is the hoax

If you really believe Inhofe believes his crap, then do a little fact checking. Several of us who live in Oklahoma have. Inhofe is OWNED by the likes of Exxon Mobil. Does he believe the religious stuff? Not sure, but a couple of people who I know that have had dealings with him have said Satan would be less devious. For example, Inhofe apparently had no problem suing his own brother then doing everything possible to destroy him.

Oklahomans who study Inhofe's dealings are disgusted. But in this state, facts do not matter. Let Inhofe go to the meeting. Maybe someone will bitch slap that asshole with intellect expose him for the piece of scum he is. Couldn't happen to a more deserving deceitful self-promoting con man.

Damn Fool Republican Trolls

If the health care public option fails, many of us will be very disillusioned. We may not support Democrats any more. But you are DAMN fools if you think we will vote for your corporate prostitutes.

We will campaign against those smucks and expose them in any way we can. I may not vote for a Democrat, but I will be sure to vote against every Republican.

It will really be over

Democracy? What democracy? If the public option is not included, every ordinary American loses with this albatross of a health care plan.

I too, am disgusted. No more campaigning for Democrats because if President Obama, the most hopeful politician in many years, cannot get this done, then it is truly over. The corporations have won, this country has officially became an oligarchy. If Democrats aren't working for us, then we are doomed. We have known for a while that all this crap the Republicans were doing was really all about the money.

The corporations will do exactly what they were designed to do: Make more money every year, and by law they have to work toward that task. And, unlike mere mortals, corporations never die.

Dear Conservatives

Conservatives courted these right wing far out nut cases. They won them over to their cause.

Goes back to the old saying: Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it. The old time conservatives fed the dragon for the votes. Now the dragon wants fire, and they have it. They need the hate spread by the likes of Beck.

Sorry Joe, it is too late to say it ain't so. Unless you want to purge yourself of the fake 'Christian right' that excludes so many citizens for their 'real America', the Republican party is stuck with these rabid, MEAN, hateful, narrow minded, xenophobic people. Quite a quandary. You have to now exclude (or change) those who presented themselves as superior to everyone else or the Republicans are just gonna keep looking more and more hateful.

Have fun. They are all yours.

FOX is screaming Over Exposure. Obama has them scared.

Since the right wing media is having a hissy fit about President Obama's so called 'over exposure' that means they are terrified that the American public might just get the message they hey, that everyone one in America having health care coverage is a good thing.

And also, insurance companies are not your friend. They are in it for profit and provide ZERO benefit to the public while enriching themselves. Public option is scary to FOX and friends. It is good to see them be big cry babies after all their organized astro-turf teabagging.

President Obama is not right on everything; but the right is so nuts, we cannot have a civil conversation, I feel we must defend him to those air bags. After the spectacle of the right wingers and their lunacy, President Obama looks like an absolute genius. And, maybe he is. He certainly seems to have a grasp on timing and understands the attention span of the public.

Pissy FOX. Go and whine. Obama not going on their morning show was a brilliant move.

Lipstick on a dipstick

Amazing how the same group got their panties in a wad over a lipstick on a pig statement--which is a common metaphor--can now be so naive about their obvious not even subtle unheard of metaphor.

Nothing is racism, according to the right wing, unless they say it is. No metaphors count. Heck, they can even call Obama racist and get away with it. If this wasn't so pathetic it would be funny. As it is, they spew more venom than a pissed off rattlesnake.
