Original article: Olbermann's wasted moment

Madden's Madness

Sure Olbermann is polarizing and the right wing hates him. (Most of them have no clue WHY they hate him, but they do.) This show was from his heart. And I was impressed with his personal touch.

Only a cold hearted son of a bitch or a greedy money grubber would not be.

I think Mike Madden sucked on his review, and it was just about as caring as something written in a right wing rag.

We all should contribute to Olbermann's cause to actually help people without insurance. What are you going to do Mike Madden? Do you have insurance? What are all you whiny people going to do? What have you done for the uninsured?

I am extremely disappointed in this ripping review, it contained only personal critiques not measurable critiques ala Glenn Greenwald. While Olberman's plea was emotional, the whole process has been played on our emotions so he joined the game.

Frankly, I don't think you give a damn.

Awesome and on point

Keith hit us just like the Republicans have hit their base, in the gut.

He took out the nasty part of health care and exposed it on a personal level.

We care most about life and death they care most about money.

It is as simple as that.

Really?

What is wrong with this picture: Salon's War Room dissed Keith Olbermann today and praised Glenn Beck.

Now will someone explain to me why I paid for Salon? This is pure crap.

I don't mind paying for stuff like Glenn Greenwald or How the World Works or even stuff I disagree with but this crap today and Camilla's ravings are just too much.

Enough already.

What is it about Fridays?

Friday must be Republicans day to hate America. Last Friday they cheered because Chicago lost the Olympics. This Friday they are pissed because OUR PRESIDENT won a Nobel Prize of Peace.

Here is what President Obama has done that no one else has: He provided America, and the world HOPE for peace after Bush. I believe this was given, in part, not only to Obama but to America to say: "Thank you for changing. Now prove to the world you are the peacemakers. Now live up to the standards of peace." And, I have no idea who the other candidates were, but can you name another person that at least gave us hope for peace and no new wars in the last year?

But, no, the Republican's heads are busy exploding, just like they did when Al Gore won. Before the day is over, we will hear what a joke the Peace Prize is. Now if one of their's had won, it would be the greatest honor ever given, manna from heaven....

Finally, bipartisanship

The DNC is growing a pair! It is about time, nothing stops a bully more than standing up to them.

You don't have to be a bully, but you don't have to be a wimp either.

How many YEARS have we put up with those rude people insulting us? It is about time the DNC called them out for the jerks they are!

GO DNC GO!! Maybe President Obama finally realized he had been bitch slapped once too often by the RNC just because they like to hit people, just because they are abusers, just because they are mean.

Common Decency

Where has common sense gone in this country? I have yet to hear one Republican say: "Congratulations Mr. President, you have honored our country."

What is worse, half of the liberals are joining in throwing rocks.

Accept what the President said, he is a class act. I read his speech, then started reading these comments. Did we read the same speech? Have we no feelings anymore?

The lack of common decency is amazing. No wonder this country has gone to hell in a hand basket. Everyone acts like a two year old child afraid to complement someone on an award because it might be bad politically.

Please! Grow up. No one who has ever received any award has been perfect or done a perfect job.

@jerryo

I agree! I hope Obama gives it to Acorn or some other community organizers! Suck it Republicans!

On Acorn

My remarks were being catty about the Republican talking heads, not ACORN. I have heard of ACORN for some time, and approve of the many things they have done for the poor. And maybe, just maybe part of President Obama's award was for his work with the poor before he became President.

Although I returned a snappy retort, I in no way meant it as an insult to ACORN, I think they got screwed by the FOX noise machine.

Last year when Ms.Palin made her snide remarks about 'community organizers' at the RNC during her debate speech, I instantly despised the woman. What a mean-spirited remark, I thought. I knew what kind of person she was from that statement alone. Who looks down on another person's work?

The Republicans hate anything that benefits the poor. That is why I truly believe that President Obama should give this to the poor, either for education or community building.

The Republicans still don't understand why President Carter or Al Gore received the Peace Prize, and they still make snide remarks about those. Instead they should be asking: "Why didn't Reagan or Dubya receive one?" Maybe they don't get that arrogance just does not appeal to the rest of the world. And I do believe that if Hillary keeps up her work she may just get a Peace Prize too eventually. Wouldn't THAT make the little 'puggies squeal???

They are just mean

All of them are just mean. Republicans are MEAN BULLIES! Seriously.

They can't stand it for someone to be anything but mean like them. Mean controlling bullies with toadies.

America, remember these toads.

President Obama, you honor us. Live up to the peace prize, and more. We know you can do it! Prove these jerks WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!!

To hell with these toadies!
