Inhofe is the hoax

If you really believe Inhofe believes his crap, then do a little fact checking. Several of us who live in Oklahoma have. Inhofe is OWNED by the likes of Exxon Mobil. Does he believe the religious stuff? Not sure, but a couple of people who I know that have had dealings with him have said Satan would be less devious. For example, Inhofe apparently had no problem suing his own brother then doing everything possible to destroy him.

Oklahomans who study Inhofe's dealings are disgusted. But in this state, facts do not matter. Let Inhofe go to the meeting. Maybe someone will bitch slap that asshole with intellect expose him for the piece of scum he is. Couldn't happen to a more deserving deceitful self-promoting con man.

Visit to two different college friends

This summer I visited two old friends. One has a huge perfect home with perfect decorator furniture in a perfect decorator neighborhood and wears perfect designer clothes on her perfect designer body. She lives near malls, and shops and goes to the newest 'in' spots on her days off in the city in which she lives.

The other friend lives simply in the mountains. She grows much of her own food, and spends a lot of time going to free concerts and working at a local animal shelter. She makes maybe one third as much money as the other friend.

Guess at which friend's home I felt better? Guess which friend is happier? Neither friend is married, but guess which one is less anxious about it? Both suggested I move near them when I can (I am considering a move when the time is right), and the one who make the most money even can help me with a job.

But the mountain friend's life style is just so, well, real. She is so much more at peace. I think she is on to something that many of us hear deep within our soul but we seem to be ignoring.

Letterman? Really?

I laughed when I ready this article. Really? Are the conservatives this clueless. Really? Honest? REALLY?

Those bozos that prohibit gays from marrying. Those bozos that want no sex ed in school. Those bozos that shake their finger at every body else's sex scandal while they are screwing every thing that moves.

Now they are mad because we are not mad at Letterman who is a comedian.

On second thought, maybe they are right. They are nothing but a bunch of comedians too who talk about everyone else's sex life too. (Albeit, they are not nearly as funny as Letterman.) Ok, they win. David Letterman, I am officially mad at you! For shame, I won't ever vote for you for, well, any high level public office such as Senator or Congressman or President!!! And you can never, ever, ever preach religion to anyone!!! But other than that, just do what you do. I imagine your wife has already had her say so. And unless I hear otherwise, I bet the other women have too.

What difference does it make?

I laugh at this, because there are plenty of those people that carry those Bibles around and beat you over the head with them yet those same people do not have a clue what is written in the Bible.

The right wing should edit the Old Testament down to: Creation in six days, God hates gays, but loves Noah and flood, and Israel. (Look at all those rich Jewish folks!) New Testament: Jesus comes from a virgin (who hates abortion) and gives us Christmas (with shopping, tinsel, and trees therefore promoting the free market system and capitalism) and Mel Gibson's version of Easter (with marshmallow peeps and eggs!). Then: Armaggedon is coming when INSERT HERE bad guy (currently Obama) who is 666 that will cause Jesus to WHOOSH the Christians off in a rapture. And Jesus will smite forever all the Communists, liberals, gays, socialists, Muslims, Buddhists, athesists, and other non-FOX News watchers to burn in hell with that Devil Obama/Hitler forever!

There! Done! What, did I leave anything out? Oh yeah, Reagan has got to be in there somewhere. Must be part of that Sermon on the Mount thing spoken by Jesus...

Well, now swine flu is going to be a massive scare by Obama!

That means there will plenty of swine flu vaccine for the rest of us.

Let the damn fool idiots deal with their flu without health insurance and cry with their Vap-o-rub.

Sorry Congress

My state has two Republican Senators, four Republican Congress members and one Democrat. If I write or call them with a concern, I will get a response on their stand on an issue. Not a response, just a frickin' canned political stance.

Not one of them are worth pissing on. Throw them all out; the Democrat is a blue dog.

Give me seven Al Franken's and I would be happy.

However, since that seems unlikely in this state, I will not campaign for any Democrat that is a blue dog. But I will never vote for any Republican.

That is what we have came to: Who we are voting AGAINST. How horrible.

Outrage

Did anyone else see the HBO documentary called 'Outrage'? It seems a bit well, dishonest that the Republicans would nominate Charlie Crist after that expose, but hey, we know about Republicans.

Actually, it seemed sad that Charlie Crist himself is so deceitful to himself. Of course it explains a lot of things. The Republicans hate in others what they hate most about themselves.

I know little to nothing about Florida politics and I have no say so in this race. But it was a very interesting story about Charlie Crist and others and it a story worth checking out.
