Ok, so I misspelled 'equalizer' while I was typing on my Blackberry while taking care of a very ill friend of mine.
You would never comprehend that. I wish you well, because you seem to be a very unhappy soul. I refuse to wallow in the mud and hatred with you.
May you truly find peace someday.
Apparently our racists are against their precious children hearing from President Obama, too. That is exactly what it is, so let's just say it: Crazy white people don't want their kids learning anything from anyone but white people. Like, you know, Jesus.
Unfortunately, this looks like the gunfight at the OK Corral. No public option, those who want real health care reform in America are pissed. Put it in and the right wingers (AKA those who are fooled and or guided by the money) are pissed.
This is a situation where someone is going to be pissed. So go for the public option, President Obama. The Republicans already hate you, and no matter what you do, they won't like it. If you gave them gold bars daily, they would complain because they weighed so much.
Give us the health care. We want the public option. If you don't do it, you probably have sealed your fate as a one termer.
But we liberals are so outnumbered that it is a difficult place to live, many of us want to move but can't for one reason or another right now.
As for "The Unlovely Truth Returns" wise ass remarks, you should be aware that Dr. Tom Coburn is asking for the death penalty for himself. He has performed abortions. So, if you are going to jump on the late Ted Kennedy, go after Coburn too.
Yes, Oklahoma is the land of the loons, but they are some of the poorest people in the country who are armed to the teeth. You can't top some of our local legislators for crazy as another poster mentioned: Sally Kern, Randy Brogdon, Mike Ritze and all the other right wingers who try to go deeper in the cesspool than the other one. They openly hate gays and anyone who isn't more John Birch than them. Amazing too, because I think we have more churches per capita than any other place in America. And those horrible huge aluminum Jesus crosses. But we must be awful because we have more women in jail than any other state, more people per capita than any where, even Saudi Arabia.
Tom Coburn got the guns in the National Parks. For that alone, he should be declared the worst Senator in America. But, then there is James Inhofe who climbs more and more on the crazy train. Unfortunately, these guys could piss on the flag and crap on someone's doorstep and still get re-elected.
If any of you think you are up to it, come on down to Woody Guthrie's home. This is the real front line of the culture war. If you can survive here, you can survive anywhere. Of course everyone knows Tim McVeigh picked Oklahoma. But don't forget the first postal shooting was here, along with the worst of the dust bowl and horrible tornadoes and nasty heat and extreme temperature changes along with a recent horrific killing of a black female minister. The spousal abuse rate here is very high and the health insurance coverage is very low. (But to Okies, a tragedy was OU losing to BYU last weekend.) Some one told me the Native Americans cursed this place, and I believe it.
On almost every Salon sight there is a first poster who comes in an slams the article with a right wing attitude. Who are these people? What think tank is sitting around doing this? I swear the other day I saw an article go up and before I could post anything, the right wingers had a windy article about their BS view.
Second, if all these Republicans with their moral values are so afraid their precious ones will be exposed to such indignity, why aren't they up in arms about the daily dose of Viagra ads? Personally, I don't know any woman (and for that matter, many men) that isn't sick of those ads. Where is the Christian outrage about what these children surely hear?
So, if a President who encourages your kid to stay in school is indoctrination, what the hell is those 'get it on' ads? How do these Republicans explain no sex while ads go on and on about keeping it up for four hours? The Republican response to President Obama was pure stupidity mixed with raw racism. If I had kids, I would much rather explain what I disagreed with about a President said than those friggin' Viagra ads.
If a White House staff member was forced to resign over a looney tune theory, why aren't all these birthers?
These theories belong in the same class, with one exception. The 9/11 people were reacting out of real fear of something that had happened, the birthers are reacting out of fear of a black man and their own hatred.
I say take the case to the Supreme Court FORCE Scalia, et.al. to declare Obama'a birth certificate is legitimate then FORCE these idiots to resign.
Get rid of the birthers for being what they are, racist bigots; our very own McCarthy witch hunters.
I thought he was wearing the same tie some of the time, but I had not put the events together. Good to see he has a few superstitions like many others do.
I wonder though what the trolls are gonna say on here. Probably something like: "Obama uses tie to hypnotize America" or "Obama's tie used to choke America's old people."
There trolls, your trash is posted. Now you can just be ashamed like you should be today and stay away.
