Pogo principle

This is the embodiment of the Pogo principle to the max. We have seen the enemy and the enemy is us.

This guy is weird, I have seen him on several shows including "60 Minutes." He calls Osama "Usama" and has been mad at Bill Clinton for years for not nuking bin Ladin. Nuclear winter be damned, this guy wants to turn the middle east to glass.

Sometimes I believe those like Scheuer and Beck have a weird death fetish wish for any American city they aren't in. They themselves wouldn't do any actual acts of live terrorism, but they would get on some kind of happy train and say "See I told you so!" It really isn't about politics anymore, it is about them getting their jollys by watching bombs go boom in American cities to prove they are right. Then they would be FAMOUS, FAMOUS, for predicting it.

Sick, sick, sick.

Oh, yeah

Anyone else think Scheuer is trying to make himself even look like bin Laden these days?

@Calif Mike

Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. This country is already in Afghanistan looking for bin Laden. Who do you want us to attack, Pakistan? Iran?

And who died and made us God of the World? We have more military might than anyone on earth. Police policy is one thing, military war is another.

BTW, did you forget about that Iraq preventive war thing? How about Vietnam to stop the commies?

There is a huge difference between what is going on now and what was going on in WWII. Quit making the comparison.

Sickening

These people in their marriage failure and shame fame are remaking their comeback. It is obvious that Ms. Sanford wants the world to understand that SHE forgave her husband now we, as good Christians, should do the same, too.

How else is ole Mark gonna run for President? After all, is he any worse than Newt? McCain? Rudy? Any number of other Republicans who are/have been running for President who dumped their wives for another woman? At least Mark came home. Like Jesus, Jenny will forgive.

And, in a couple of years, watch the spinmeisters talk about the 'strong' marriage of the Sanford's, how this trial brought them closer together, and yes! Romance sprang anew! Jesus saved! Lordy, lordy, you can fall in love well after forty!

They are in love again! Mark Sanford will be the model for men who have the wandering eye. He can lead American men who have been waylaid by wanton women!!

Everybody is forgiven! Elect Mark Sanford for President!

Puke, puke, puke, puke....

@something stinks

And what makes you think Sanford won't screw the whole country? He has screwed over South Carolina, especially the poor.

Schools in some areas are in shambles, while Sanford turned down stimulus money. Of course, he was getting his own 'stimulus.'

Stanford is just another self-righteous Republican. They will screw any woman (or man) they want, claim they are forgiven by Jesus, then turn around and screw the public in any way possible. And lie about it. And talk about Bill Clinton to cover their own crap.

Of course, in the mean time, they line the pockets of themselves and their rich corporate sponsors. And no, I don't believe all Democrats are better. I have just seen several that are, some that I truly believe are TRYING to help. I can't find any Republican that I like. This is the worst group of trained, paid Republican dogs in history in Congress.

I actually felt a little sorry for Sanford at first, now I just see what he is up to: The typical Republican 'Sweet Jesus I sinned and please let me talk about it on FOX' charade. And he was good, really good.

But, now I get it: All Republican politicos are soul mates. Machiavellian soul mates.

And I thought I was sick of the Michael Jackson coverage

Michael Jackson had all the attention.

Sarah had to have the HEADLINES back.

Well, let's guess how much of this weekend will be spent on 1) Sarah 2) Sarah 3)Sarah 4) 4th of July 5)Michael Jackson 6)How will Sarah govern as President? 7)South Carolina Governor Affair 8)SARAH!

This woman has to have the spotlight. Again.

This actually says as much about our media as it does Palin.

Oh, well. Maybe President Obama can get some stuff done with the bat shit crazy woman in the headlines.

@something stinks

You are right, 'something stinks.' Your knowledge of reality. I deal with your type every day in this red state. You are not telling me any FOX News spin that I have not heard before.

Out in the real world

I ask the reasonable Republicans, not the Sarah supporters, not the wing nuts, can you honestly support this woman for President? If she is your party's pick would you vote for her?

How can any reasonable, thinking person possibly say Sarah has any sense? I beg you, not as a Democrat, but as a citizen of this country, please do not nominate this woman for President. As a Democrat, I would say she would ensure Obama's reelection, but as a citizen, I say please do not. This woman is no where stable enough to be anywhere near the Oval Office and by some fluke she might win. Our country could easily be doomed.

As an observer, I think this woman is a whack job. I know it is easy to say about someone. For example, I really can't stand John Boehner but I don't think he is mental. I really disagree with Kay Bailey Hutchinson but I don't think she is bat shit crazy. I think Mitt Romney is a walking ego but not insane. I think Sarah Palin is all of these things.

Anyone else think maybe Palin quit at this point because she now has as much time as Governor as Obama did as Senator?

Illness

Anyone else beginning to strongly suspect that Sarah may be bi-polar or manic depressive?
