RNC Blowvards

Is this the same group who is so anti-government run health care? They are babbling away on TV now about how American cars cost $600 MINIMUM per auto more right now compared to their Japanese and German counter parts because of health care for the workers.

I haven't heard one Republican mention the wealthy CEO and executive packages that the GM bosses have been taking for years. But according to them, those unions, hey, now there is your thieves, according to them.

The most laughable one of all is Mitt Rommey. He didn't run an auto company, his Daddy did, and his family got filthy rich off the workers backs. Now, Rommey WHO NEVER RAN A CAR COMPANY is the Mr. Know It All about the car business.

Give me a friggin' break.

Original article: Jim Inhofe is all class

Ugh

Unfortunately, those of us from Oklahoma listen to Inhofe's crap all the time.

I can't find anyone with even half a brain-- not even a Republican-- that likes Inhofe. He is a nut after money.

So, why does he keep getting re-elected? Money from the oil companies and big time religions. Check out his donations.

Inhofe would say anything if the dollar signs were right. The masses in one of the least educated states keep electing the jerk in the name of God.

If karma is real, Inhofe will be reborn as a gay man in the wilds of Africa with five starving children living in fear of flooding from global warming while being bombed by another country. But, then, even karma isn't that big a bitch.

Shareholder vote?

Anyone who owns stock, be it via 401k or any other way, knows darn good and well that unless you are a majority shareholder, you have ZERO say in any way the company is run or the pay of the executives.

I have been a huge Obama supporter since I heard him speak at the DNC in 2004. I love the way he represents our country and many other items he has tackled. However, he is losing me on this issue as well as the civil liberties so well documented by Glenn Greenwald.

Obviously, Obama is bowing to the pressure of the money. But, he is selling out the interests of most people. We need to keep pushing that he not back down on health care.

It is a shame that the right wing is throwing around nonsense petty garbage because I would like to discuss these REAL issues. Instead I feel have to defend Obama against crap to the co-workers and relatives who only listen to the MSM. If I tried to bring up the issue of this article, it would be beyond their comprehension that I had any problem with Obama and they would throw it back at me when I said there was no way I would vote for a damn Republican in 2012.

Health Care

Karl Rove knows damn good and well the French appreciate their health care, he is just playing all the people in America who have never been to Europe. Usual Republican tactic: Play the people who need the health care the most for the biggest fools, i.e. Rove the atheist using religion as a political tool.

And, darn, I wish I had a President write notes for me when I skipped class in school!

Sickening

Please, will someone stop the hatred here. I can't believe what I am reading by posters on this board.

How can people hate people so much that they do not even know? Have you no feelings for other living humans?

I hope that those posters who have this hatred get some professional help soon. You have very, very dark souls.

Here is a probably insane idea

Why not let the government PAY the tuition for some bright young people who want to become doctors? In return, they would agree to work for the government in a health care system until their tuition was repaid. They would also receive a salary. After a period of 10 to 15 years (whatever is fair) they would then be free to go out on their own or stay with the government run system.

Sure, many of them wouldn't get to go into plastic surgery, but we would have a lot more general practice or elder care specialists.

I know it is not possible for some reason, I am totally naive about the medical profession. Probably the AMA would be tainted by those graduates that could not afford medical school. And BTW, can we have a few less drug pushers (AKA pharaceutical reps) in the doctors office? I counted six of them the last time I went to see a specialist. I started to ask one of them if he knew where to find some good weed, but hey, this state will throw you in jail for life for even making a joke about that. Interesting how this society says lab drugs are moral and nature's drugs are a sin.

Dear President Obama

Dear Mr. President,

If you are leaving the LGBT community out in the cold because of the Republicans, it doesn't matter, they hate you and always will.

Treat LGBTs fairly, and you will win many, many more hearts and minds that you will lose.

As it is, you are losing support of some of your biggest backers by pandering to the right. And frankly it is so disappointing and sad.

You still have time. You have the opportunity to be one of the greatest Presidents ever by recognizing we are all truly equal.

Just do it.

Original article: Bush criticizes Obama

Go back to your mansion where we didn't miss you

Well, Dubya took less time than any recent President to start attacking his successor. (BTW, whatever happened to his 'ranch?')

And how long did it take Georgie Boy to miss the 'love' of the wing nuts, six months? Must be a record for any of the current elected Republicans, they seem to need a daily dose of hate mongers and extremists around them.

Is that an honor among thieves?
