Original article: Calm down, Keith

Leave Olberman alone!

Obviously, some of his stuff is just funny. But, he expresses the frustration many of us feel. We have been pissed for eight years.

Speak out Keith, and keep speaking until FAUX News goes dark. They spammer on 24/7. We just get a little Keith special comment ever so often.

Unlike FAUX viewers, we know what we are getting when we hear these special comments: A sermon. Every once in a while we need a good ole pep talk.

And we don't confuse it with propaganda.

Funny subject

I checked out my old HS, really looking for an old friend I could not find anywhere else. At any rate, I saw a guy I knew fairly well--but definitely not a romance of any sort-- so I sent him a message just to say hello and see how his life was going.

My picture shows me wearing Obama stuff. The old High School chum was very into Jesus and gave me a riff about saving my soul from the horrible Muslim who has no birth certificate. UGH!

At any rate, I blocked that sucker off. I took my very rural High School off. I never want to make that mistake again.

However, to be polite, I pretty much accept friend requests from anyone. Then, if I don't want them, I turn around within a short time and X them off.

Works for me. They are accepted as a friend, then removed before they know what the hell happened. And my Facebook has very limited information. I just use it as a way to find people I want to find and contact them in other ways.

But really, if the letter writer has no bigger problems than this, obviously he or she is not watching the news......

Poke 'em

I wish Obama would pack the Stimulus Bill with everything, schools, health care, elder care, etc. Then, any Senators that voted against it would be opted out, they wouldn't get a darn penny.

Then, let's see how fast these Republican idiots would move out of the way. In my red state, maybe the people would FINALLY wake up and see that the Republicans really don't give a damn about them while nearby blue states thrive.

Let's show real political consequences. Let these Senators eat some damn crow.

Better Idea

Although they scream and stomp their feet and showboat, I have yet to see any Republican plan for recovery beyond tax cuts.

Well, we have been tax cutting since the days of Ronald Reagan and look where we are now. We have been conned into switching from the good ole company retirements of our parents into the 401ks that are robbed by the fat Wall Street types of the new era. And the Republicans just wanna give those guys more tax cuts.

So, beyond 'let them eat cake' I haven't heard a damn thing from the Republicans. Maybe President Obama's and the Democrats plan won't work. Maybe it will. But I know this much: The Republicans ideas won't. And they, along with the Blue Dogs are being complete asses about it.

At least with President Obama's plan we got a chance. And that at least is hope.

Original article: House passes stimulus

Its all in the words

Democrats, led by President Obama: Yes, we can!

Republicans, led by idiots: No, you can't!

Thanks for nothing you sorry bunch of losing obstructionist tax cuttters. Tax cut away, heck eliminate all my taxes for a decade and it still would bring back what you lovers of the fat cats stole from my 401k.

Screw you Republicans. Just screw you. And I am not alone in my thoughts. Even red blood states are losing jobs and the religious idiots are beginning to get it. You guys are going down in flames. Can't want to toast marshmallows on your bonfire.

Original article: Senate approves stimulus

Sick Republicans

It is pretty pathetic when not one other Republican would vote for this and let the grieving Senator stay in Ohio after his mother's funeral.

Couldn't just one Republican Senator even say: "I do not agree with this, but in respect for Senator Brown, I will cast his 'yes' vote?"

Nope. Wouldn't occur to these pricks. That is what they are pricks. My sorry ass Republican Senators certainly wouldn't do this sort of thing, even though they claim they are such fine, Christian men. But they sure rushed back to 'save' Terri Shavio. Remember that?

God, please, will you rapture these faux Christian idiots soon? Please? I really believe we could all get along much better without these so called 'compassionate conservatives.'

They are lower than snakes in the grass. Sorry, didn't mean to insult snakes.

Oh, get over yourselves!

Not all comedy has to be cutting edge satire. Chill out posters! It was light weight, but it was funny.

SNL was just presenting a few minutes of fun. I agree with Joan. And I laughed.

Not everyone is as cool as some as the writers on this board think they are.

The talking head Republicans are actually shallow characters, either greedy or stupid or delusional faux Christian. This sketch pretty well presented the depth of their mentality.
