The email came from my kooky relatives. To them it was PROOF Jesus was coming back. I wrote that it was PROOF that an Apocalypse was near if we elect McPain.

McPain will probably pull the nukes. Then we will have an Apocalypse, but a man made one. If there is a God, he or she will thumb the nose at us and come back whenever the universe ends.

In the meantime, humankind will be blown to bits by some leaders that believed our spirit in the sky was better than some other leaders spirit in the sky.

Or we can elect Obama who at least will try not to get us into wars over spirits in the sky.

Personally, I will vote for reason. I believe that would be what those guys who wrote the Constitution would do too.

As someone who has to live in state where Inhofe supposedly represents, let me say that I have researched his 'science' at length. First, Inhofe's largest supporters are oil company executives.

His scientists either A) work for an oil company or B) Have not got a damn thing to do with the environmental aspect of science. One bills himself as a 'social scientist' and another has less environmental study background than most high school kids. This flies in the face of thousands of other scientists world wide.

Why is it that only in America there is two sides to the global warming debate? Why is it that every other modern country can clearly explain global warming to the people? Here is a simple explanation:

The earth cycles in and out of warm periods. The earth is now heading toward its natural cooling progression HOWEVER the amount of CO2 in the air since the start of the Industrial Revolution has moved upward causing the greenhouse effect of global warming. But, that might require reading. Apparently those who don't give a hoot about the environment can't do anything except espouse talking points. But, then those are usually the same people who believe in the 'free market' when the money is good. Then they want socialism in the form of a government bail out when they fall off the cliff.

Like the free marketers, when the earth hits a disaster, all these deniers will be screaming "Why hasn't the government done something?" Then they will blame it on the Democrats.

Obama needs a similar ad on the Social Security and plans of the Republicans to invest the fund in the stock market.

Surely they are already planning that one.

CEO pay is set by the board, who is of course, appointed by the CEO. All of us who put money into 401Ks (what choice do we have if we want to retire?) get those little notices to 'vote' for the board members and the CEOs. Our pathetic shares against the corporate owners who own billions of shares. Wow.

Then, those CEOs can get to go on TV and say "The American public who is contributing to the 401Ks is VOTING on the CEO pay." Not only did Carly make this type statement, so did all the heads of the oil companies.

Yeah, and the communists voted too.

What Obama should do is REMIND America that McCain wanted to put social security funds in the stock markets. This is the EXACT reason why it was wrong.

The CEOs and others at the top would get the golden parachutes, the rest of us get the golden fleece.
