Thanks for the fodder.

Stupid statement. Is Salon just creating stuff for the Republicans to use? Want to bet how long it is before the comment about will.i.am turns up on FAUX? When will I get this in an email from those crazy Republican relatives?

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Didn't we have a war going on somewhere?

It was McCain's Crowd

Say what you want, cite the stats you want, but go live among these evangelicals. They are hard-core Republicans of the worst kind, the ones who only consider two things: Sex and abortion. And sex only matters if 1) It is gay men who are not policially active Republicans and 2) The adultery was committed by someone other than a Republican.

I watched the dog and pony show. The crowd was pro-McCain. Why Obama wastes his time with this group is beyond me.

If Obama wants to win the true Christians, the ones who believe in Jesus words of heal the sick, feed the pool, love thy neighbor, well then Obama should just keep promoting his programs and move to the LEFT not the right.

I am an agnostic, perhaps even an atheist. And I see these mega-Church Christians as brainwashed people who go to a group seminar to hear what makes them feel good or teaches them how to wish for wealth. But it is not Christianity. It is amazing how many of my evangelical neighbors, workers and family don't have a clue what is in the Bible. Of course, they also cannot name even two of the rights gurranteed in the first amendment. Some even think 'that is where they get to own a gun. '

While there are churches who promote the common good and work toward that goal, they have become the exception rather than the rule. Church and flag waving have become one for so many. What would Jesus do? Does it take an atheist to see this?

A Book By any other name

It is still about control. They are meglo maniacs who want to control women and their bodies, they want to control people of color, they want to control gays. Warren, even with a 'softer' tone, is just another 'religious' leader who wants to tell you how to live your life. How is ego must be bloated now. HE is controlling the leader of the free world!

I don't buy a bit of this softening of evangelical mega leaders. They are still programed voters: gay and abortions. What are those? Sticking your nose in someone else's sex life. And, why did he let McCain get off the hook so easily on his own adultery? No follow-up questions?

If Warren were a true 'caring' person, why didn't he ask a question like this: "Can you justify slaughtering thousands of innocent babies in Iraq for a lie?" "Is it ever right for a President to mislead a country into war where the country will scarifice its young for nothing?"

It is crap. Pure crap. I realize Obama is trying to prove he is not a Muslim, but I wish he would walk away from these mega-faith people. If he must, go to Christians who are truly trying to accomplish what Jesus taught, feed the poor. Heal the sick. Those who are not building monuments to their own friggin egos.

Warren is only slightly better than the rest. He smiles more. But somehow I bet he has a few skeltons of his own hanging around. Can't you just smell it?

The Elite Question

This was a stupid statement all along. I could not believe Americans ever thought Obama was the 'elite one' in this race. All Presidential candidates are wealthy, it is how you got your wealth that matters. McCain was born with it, and married much much more.

If you are born with a silver spoon, how can you possibly relate to the rest of us? Reading Cindy McCain's statement about how "our condo became so busy with children visiting, so I just bought another one...." tells us a lot. So, off the cuff, so, doesn't everybody? No wonder John doesn't know how many homes they own. They buy them like the ordinary person visits the grocery store.

Gee, when my home gets busy with guests, I buy more sodas. Or chips and dip. Or beer. We sleep on the sofa.

How about you guys? Any one else in America get to buy a condo just because you have extra guests over from time to time?

@Mickey

If Americans are truly voting on how someone looks like an elitist rather than what they do and say then we are indeed stupid, stupid, stupid. I believe many are actually voting that way.

Glenn Greenwald's latest book should be required reading.

They are brainwashed fools

I have lived among fundies for years. They are controlling, Bible thumping zealots. My family members are among them. True sermon on the mount Christians I like. Fundies are nuts.

Off with the kid gloves. Anyone that votes for McCain/Palin is just plain ignorant. I have zero tolerance for you. You are just stupid, brainwashed zombies.

Sorry, I have had it. I am an agnostic. I have had it with this people who want thia, wolf shootin' momma and her daddy as President. The next male who tells me Palin is a MILF gets decked.

And I am a pacifist. I really, really am.

Hey Sarah:

Explain what the difference in these three are: Hamas, Hezbollah, Hannakuh.

What type of Muslim was Osama bin Ladin? What type of Muslims are in Saudi Arabia? Iran?

Why are Israel and Palestine at war all the time?

Ask her the name of the Prime Minister of Great Britain.

Ask her to find Afghanistan on a map. Find South Korea. Find Indonesia. Heck, find Japan.

Three extra points if she can answer any of these.

When is FOX going off the air?

When are we going to have the powers that be start attacking the horrible monster?

Those shills at FOX, Brit Hume, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, et.al. will continue with their hate speech.

Where is the outrage?
