It is not meant to appeal to everyone

This ad is meant to appeal to those who are sick of the Republicans but still somehow think Obama not patriotic. You know, those who actually think that wearing a flag pin matters.

The rest of us already are voting for the Democratic candidate. We already were. Always have. And, unless something changes, always will.

My first vote for President was in 1972. I have never voted for a Republican for President. So, this ad was not for me, but for my relatives who voted for Reagan and have been voting for Republicans ever since.

They are just now realizing they have been screwed. This year, they are actually voting for the Democratic candidate. Many of them really like Obama. Just like the guy in the ad.

Let the friggin Republicans doom themselves

Go on, let them do it. And we can bring out the elderly people that we all know.

For example, I know a 95 year old WWII vet who has no birth certificate or passport. He does, however, still have his drivers license. His mind is extremely clear, and he is sharper than many 30 year olds.

Now, under this law, he cannot vote. Are these damn legislators that stupid? I would love to have that sweet old man stand on a street corner with a sign that says: "I fought for my country in WWII and now I can no longer vote."

And, oh yeah, he was a life long Republican until George W. Bush did his dirty work. Now he hates the Republican party. This man would carry that sign in a heartbeat.

Reagan was not even President when the wall came down

The great orator was already in his impaired mental state when the wall came down.

President George W H Bush was President was in office when the USSR fell, not Reagan. The Republicans can't even get their lies straight. And, the USSR crumbled from within, not because of anything any of our Presidents did.

Reagan was a blow hard. He wrecked unions, started the privatization of government agencies and threw people in health care facilities on the street, many of whom eventually wound up in (now private) prisons. He said there was no recession, he looked at a LA newspaper and said as long as there was want ads, people could find work. Of course, his military moves are legendary to anyone who really remembers the era.

He skipped WWII so he could play brave soldier in the movies. He was a fake hero. He acted brave, and acted cocky. He was pure phony and as brave as a rich man surrounded by body guards. And remember Nancy telling him what to say?

Reagan was also a true racist. Check out where he started his campaign. Check out what he did to women's rights. Personally, I hope history reflects the truth: Reagan started the downward spiral that eventually spawned the evil of George W. Bush. Let's hope it stops there.

What I find amazing is that I have had to explain this to young DEMOCRATS today. They have been taught Reagan was a god that saved us from the evil by Jimmy Carter. Even our history is already lying.

Very wrong indeed

In this state, before being elected, pledged delegates signed an oath that they would vote for the candidate they said they would support unless their candidate released them to vote otherwise. So, before they could run as an elected delegate they SWORE they would support that candidate.

If this guy lived in our state, he would be in deep crap with the Democratic party members, as well he should be.

This is wrong. I hope the Obama delegates from his state tell him he cannot do that. I hope his State party chair tells him he must resign and cannot go to the convention.

The Chair can do that. He or she should do that.

Why do we care?

Never forget with whom Carville sleeps at night. Carville never says anything that is not politically motivated.

He wants something. Big.

Original article: Bush seems to attack Obama

Aren't Nazis off limits?

Remember the early comparisons of the Republican call for the Iraq War? Remember the press going wild when any Democrat, no matter how obscure, dared to call Bush a Nazi?

The outrage! The horror! The disrespect of a President!

But being disrespectful only seems to work one way, as usual.

Hopeful McCain

It is obvious who McCain is going for: Democrats.

There are a number of people out there who will never vote for an African American male or woman--of any color for POTUS. And, many of those people are Democrats. McCain is offering them an excuse to vote for him.

This ad, along with his newly found environmental concern is to appeal to Democrats. Oh, yeah, he is the ONE to bring you jobs. End the war. Solve the problems. And--not only does he have a penis--it is white!

Doesn't matter if his actions don't back him up. He is a hero, and those Democrats won't have to hold their nose and vote for a President that looks different!

Karl Rove surely approved this message.
