Sorry...she could change her legal status to Martian, but that does not make it true.

Does he know what the queers are doing to the soil?

I only hope that he generation is the last of the "Real Americans" we heard so much about during the campaign cycle..Then I look at my second cousins who are home schooled, and brought to the Creation Museum as a field trip..and realize that it may be a bit longer than I had hoped.

Original article: WTF: Octomom reality show

Sad to say..

This woman is so batshit insane I know I'd watch the show. I still can't figure out why the state has taken the kids away..they don't stand a chance in that house.

Original article: Don't judge the chemo kid

So Salon publishes quackery now??

I may not judge the "Chemo Kid" he's thirteen and is being manipulated by his quite insane mother. I do think if, well really when since he won't get treatment, this kid dies she should be charged with premediated murder. Most cancer patients would do ANYTHING for a 90% survival rate, and this kid's asshole mother is throwing it away. To top it off this article justifies it by saying chemo is hellish..tell us something we don't already know! The hells of chemo sure as hell beat wasting away from cancer...get a new job quack.

Cmon now..

I'm a socially liberal person..but let's get real...all the hormone injections in the world will not turn a she into a he..unless you know of a way that they manipulate chromosomes..

More power to Bono, hopefully the transition into a more masculine female will bring her happiness.

So what can we laugh at???

I don't watch Letterman, never found him funny, Conan is more my speed. I would like to know what we are allowed to find funny, since nearly every joke will "offend" somebody in one way or another..Jeez comedy IS ABOUT MAKING FUN OF PEOPLE!! It's about pointing out our differences as a people thats what makes it funny.Whether it be sex, race, or relgion nothing should be safe. I can't imagine what comedy will be when the ultra sensitive folk run the show (whether loony left or religious right), god forbid somebody has their feelings hurt.

My wife to be..

Did a bit of searching on Craigslist...1000.00 David's Bridal dress, became her wedding dress for the price of 200.00.

Original article: Death of the tobacco lobby

Now why would Phillip Morris support the bill??

From my understanding the bill would allow the FDA to regulate the amount of nicotine that is allowable in a cigarette. So one would imagine they will insist on a reduced level of said drug. Phillip Morris knows that the majority of smokers just are not going to quite, no matter how much a pack of smokes cost, and it serves their purpose to have a lower nicotine level. The lower the nicotine level, the more adicts will have to smoke to satisfy their cravings, the more money in the PM coffers.

As somebody who enjoys a nice cigar every week or so I more concerned how this will affect that industry which is already weakened from the SCHIP.

Wow..

This article did make me realize how little the wife to be and I have been going out to eat these days..and when we do it's picking up a pizza, preferably from a independent. A few slices of pizza washed down with some home brewed beer beats spending a small fortune out.

The Internet is the great equalizer

Good for Twitter, though I don't use it myself...at least with the advent of a "smaller world" the masses don't have to worry about them brown skinned folks coming an making us pray all funny like....Face it the internet has made regular folks able to make contact with our "enemies" which must befuddle our masters..since they no longer can control who our enemies are.

Only time will tell

When the inevitable crackdown occurs, will the opposition allow themselves tobe silenced, or will they fight back...either way innocent blood will be spilled.

Original article: Michael Jackson's sad exit

People had it on at work

I wandered into our breakroom during "Reverand" Al's speach...I hope I was not the only one who saw the irony of this man praising MJ as a civil rights pioneer, and bringing whites and blacks together...all the while he (Sharpton) has been a pioneer of racial division.

Original article: History is bunk after all

Lost me at WWI

Sorry, but it was the Treay of Versaille that lead to WWII. The measures placed on the German people WERE draconian. Had the author taken the time to do any research they would never had included a claim otherwise. I will agree that history is of course written by the victors, but this is just another case of an author saying things are not the way they seem just for the sake of doing so.

The sad part is...

This is going to work. Beck is catering to those "angry white folks" that for whatever reason feel that they have been put upon by the Obama Admin...

Your thinking of Brian Kilmead from Fox and Friends..I just died a little inside knowing that.

I'd support their secession buuuuutt.

I like living in Florida, and the wingnuts are firmly entrenched here, well Jacksonville anyway. I would just hate to have to deal with Northern winters again.

A lot of money to make beer?? really?

"Something just occurred to me while reading this. It takes a lot of money to make beer. Or whiskey, or any other form of booze, for that matter. Anything more drinkable than bathtub gin requires a large investment of money, time and expertise. For that reason, the production of alcohol is almost exclusively the domain of capitalists."

Not really, anoybody with a small investment can homebrew beer in a matter of hours. You can make a decent still in an afternoon, and produce pretty decent whiskey if your willing to let it age...got a couple dozen bottle of oak barrel ale (homebrewed) sitting in the fridge right now..total price for the ingredient..25 bucks, the equipment was maybe a one time investment of 150.00
