what?

This post is the kind of thing that I would expect from a local news broadcast. Is there not enough real news happening? What did Fitzgerald have for lunch? Did he take a walk in the park? Did he sneaze? If so, did he use a tissue or wipe it on his sleave? Let's just be patient and wait for tomorrow.

Dude,

...where's my terror alert?

Hmmmm...

This line of thinking seems to suggest that Libby could be the end of the line. It might be easy for the administration officials to sell him out patsy style to cover there own involvment if they latch on to this reasoning that he was a rogue acting out of turn. It seems like a good spin for the right. Although it does run contrary to the "loyalty oath crowd" manifesto. But they are getting desparate and have proven they are capable of anyting. This is going to be an interesting time.

Original article: Should cafes be kid-free?

I'm not suprised...

...that this attitude is becoming more prevalant in an increasingly selfish and removed society. There is little sense of community or empathy anymore. In urban areas especially. I wonder how many of these business owners and "concerned patrons" will talk ad naseum on their cell phones in public places involving everyone around them in a one-sided personal conversation. Cell phones are the epitomy of disrespect and personal entitlement. Ban those in restaraunts not kids. The last thing we need is another reason to tell kids they are not wanted because of who they are in an increasingly kid un-friendly world. I take my four year old son everywhere, and will for some time. If selfish people don't like it, I suppose they can hang-up all the signs they wan't to. But parents, please, understand the source and never feel bad about taking your kids anywhere. And if you are truly made to feel unwelcome, there are always other businesses that will be happy to serve you.

Original article: "Crash" takes top Oscar

IT IS EASY TO SEE WHY THINGS ARE SO FUCKED UP. WITH ALL THAT IS GOING ON IN THE REAL WORLD, THIS CRAP SHOULDN'T EVEN MATTER.

Original article: Roe for men?

GO DEADBEAT DADS!

What a crock of crap. If he was the one so worried about having a child, where was his birth control. He shirked his personal responsibility at the time of conception. It is no suprise that he wants to shirk his responsibility now.

HE IS SUCH A JACKASS!

It is almost unbelievable.

Original article: Flight 77 video from 9/11

Nice Doctored Videos!!!

The worst camera. No, not one of the twenty or more cameras that watch that area of the building, but some guard post camera from a long distance away. The "object" coming into view seems much too small to be a commercial plane. Lord knows, they havn't had any time to throw that together. Five years, and thats the big video proof. These guys really are incompetent. Jerry Bruckheimer does propaganda. They should have gotten him in on it. Did you see the plane crashes in "Pearl Harbor"?

For undoctored videos of the aftermath check out "9/11 In Plane Sight".

It's simple folks. No wreckage, No plane crash.

I am not going to be renewing my subscription to Salon.

We don't need to hear from yet another right wing hack, do we? The idiots have so many voices and outlets for their ignorance. I (in my ignorance) thought Salon should be a refuge from them. Masquerading garbage like this as some kind of "balance" in reporting is contemptible. It is a shame that liberals can't wake up to some of the really awful truths about the extent to which the neo-cons will go to further the agenda of the corporatist/fascist/capitalist infrastructure. No one with an ounce of common sense could possibly argue that the hundreds of billions in record profits and war profiteering, the extinction of a viable middle class, and the ever expanding powers of the "unitary executive" wouldn't be worth stealing an election for. This kind of regressive bullshit is the real danger to freedom and the democratic process.

Screw Salon and Screw Farhad Manjoo.
