However, I really hated all the fur wearing. Did VOGUE and Anna

Wintour finance this thing? And why did the director have to

include the scene at the end with the two women throwing

red paint on Samantha's coat? They were made to look like

two harpies. It's as if the beautiful people who don't give

a damn where their goodies come from are allowed any

legitimacy. Animals have to suffer a lot so bitches can strut

about trying to impress those less fortunate. So of course

Wintour must have had a hand in this.

Also, Chris Noth is not such a good actor. He always seemed

to be looking beyond Carrie, with poor eye contact.

But I did like it overall and the theater audience was fun and

    very engaged.

Charlotte is just the best ever.

i respectfully disagree with you regarding Obama.

My problems with him are that he DOES appeal to

wealthy, snobbish Democrats. He also projects an

attitude of moral superiority and self righteousness

which I find totally bogus. Have you not seen the clips

of his friends at Trinity Church? Do you know how he

got started in Chicago politics? For that matter, have you

ever seen him without his nose stuck up in the air?

Read this article by Matt Gonzalez and then tell me

if you think he's not connected to corporate America

    http://www.counerpunch.org/gonzalez02292008.html

If he is supposed to be so inspiring why were his supporters

in the media and in the blogosphere so appallingly vicious?

Even now, if you do not "get" Obama you get insulted.

Nothing McCain ever said about Hillary comes close to the

    nastiness of Obama's supporters.

As far as I am concerned, Hillary does not owe Obama, nor

his supporters, anything. It is to her credit that she will

be a "good soldier" and campaign for him.

And yes, Obama ran a brilliant, cunning campaign. He

gamed the system perfectly. So did GWBush in 2000 and

    2004.

Please don't accuse me of dishonesty because you don't like

what I said. Perhaps I should have said "worked" the system

rather than "gamed" the system. At any rate, Obama definitely

understood it better than Hillary, alas. I think it was the caucuses

more than anything else that did her in.

I emphasize that Obama gets the SNOB voters, hands down.

Well to do or otherwise. And a lot more poor (only moneywise,

NOT poor in spirit) 'regular" folks voted for HRC. I pay my

rent by doing housecleaning, and I sent HRC over $300. Got

the credit card bills to prove it.

DeloresFlower, do you think you are "morally superior" as most

Obama folks seem to? Are YOU honest?

Obama is no populist. He gets plenty of loot from corporate

    fat cats, they all do.

I do not think you are one of the snobs who favor Obama.

I appreciate your post and hear what you say.

However, i do not think Obama is any more committed to the

poor than HRC. I think his community organizing consisted of

signing up voters for the Chicago Democratic political machine.

By the way, what community did he organize in? Was it any

better for his having been there?

I also do not believe the majority of his donors are those who

"nickeled and dimed" A major part of his demographic are the well

off democrats. As far as his corporate backers, I'm not sure which

candidate got more, but I bet there's not that much difference

    between them.

I am not defending McCain but I also do not think he is the

King of Sleeze - at least not yet. What do you think he has done

    that's sleezy?

McCain condoned a "bitch" remark, or at least didn't denounce

it when a supporter made that reference to Hillary.

That pales in comparison to what Obama's supporters

in the media and on line have said. O's ardent supporters

say that there is no difference between them and him

("we are one with Obama") I think they are expressing his

inner nastiness that he hides behind that wide grin of

his. I know that's esoteric but that's all I can figure,

or maybe it's because a lot of the more unpleasant

    ones are immature...like Obama.

You rock, Girlfriend! I stopped watching MSNBC on Feb 5, 1st

Super Tuesday. Hillary won a lot of primaries that night yet

they stayed on Barack (worship ME or else!)Obama. Chris Matthews

has always valued style over substance-he went on and on about

Bush when he pulled the "Mission Accomplished" stunt. Kept

saying "America wants a GUY President!"

    Keep the Faith!

As Hillary was giving her concession speech I was filling out my

voter registration form to switch from Dem to GREEN PARTY. I

will not be associated with any organization that has Obama as

    its leader.

As soon as she finished I straightaway posted that form. I am

so disgusted with the Dems, what have they done?

I feel it is a much better fit for me with the Greens. The environment

is my issue, after all. And McKinney is so OUT THERE! I had

reservations about her because of what I read in the MSM but

I did my research and she seems right on target.

    Many Blessings and OM TARA!

  • Why O voted yes

I think Obama voted yes on the FISA bill because he expects to be

President and wants all power unto himself.

Obama is all about finding loopholes and ways around things. And

he can sure do it. Very cunning man.

Anybody who thinks he will protect the Constitution if he does

attain the oval office is in for a big surprise.
