Dear Majorajam: I am a strong Hillary supporter and do not walk around with lead pipes when I'm not blogging. YOU are the one who feels that, perhaps YOU are projecting your own inner reality.

If Barack Obama is so anti war why did he endorse Joe Lieberman for the Senate in 2006?

Here is a quote from Obama in San Francisco on Jan 18

"The day I am elected and sworn in, not only does this country look at itself differently but I think the world looks at itself differently. And that's not just symbolic."

Link to entire quote and rest of article:

How special can one person be?

(It is a little known fact that when the Obama photo on the front of Newsweek was taken he was actually looking into a mirror. lol)

If HRC manages to knock Mr. Perfect, the saintly Obama out of the race she and her husband will be doing the US a great favor. Mr. Obama's clinical diagnosis is: "Narcissistic personality disorder with delusions of grandeur" Another Jim Jones in the making. Obama actually said, in SF on January 18 (source SF Chronicle) "On the day I am elected and sworn into office, not only does this country look at itself differently, but I think the world looks at itself differently. And that's not just symbolic"

Obama can kiss my patootie. I don't buy his schtick for one minute. The media should have done its job and held this self obsessed man under the microscope, instead of giving him a pass like they did GWBush.

Oh yeah. One more thing. When that Newsweek cover photo of Obama was taken they forgot to mention that Obama was looking into a mirror.

    So! "BamaBots! Are.You.Fired.Up. And.Ready.To.Go? Do.You.Weep.When.Obama.Speaks? Weeping. Weeping.

My Dear AKASmith - You so are cute when you get angry! Yes indeed, Obama

has a narcissistic personality disorder AND delusions of grandeur( You forgot to mention THAT in your post)

How do I know this? I'm looking 60 smack dab in the face and I've bothered to actually pay attention to what's going on around me during a good part of those years.

    What about you?

I have yet to hear one word of explanation from Obama's cult

followers as to why he endorsed Joe Lieberman over Ned Lamont, a true progressive in the 2006 senate race. Hillary indeed may have also endorsed him, however, she's not the one yammering

about how anti war she is and how she got it right.

Why did Obama sign on to Cheney's energy bill? Any explanations?

You state that it would be good to have a leader worth following.

Fine, be a sheep and follow Obama.

Chant endlessly that you are "Fired. Up. And. Ready. To Go." because you feel the "Fierce. Urgency. Of. Now."

Why do you think Hillary's pointing to the endorsement of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and her siblings is somehow lame?

Is it because they didn't endorse the empty suit that is Obama?

As to endorsements, I'll take the endorsement of Hillary by Delores Huerta of the United Farm Workers any day of the week

over those of Teddy Kennedy, Kerry et al.

Dear Obama supporters: Please explain this:

In the 2006 elections, Obama endorsed Joe Lieberman for US senate over the true progressive Ned Lamont.

Google Obama/Lieberman. that is the first entry, the next is: "Obama, Lieberman, and the DLC"

it doesn't matter who Hillary endorsed, she's not the one going on and on about being anti war.

Obama says Hillary's supporters will vote for him should he be the nominee, whereas it's not certain that his supporters will vote for her should she be the nominee.

HA! I'll write in Daffy Duck for president if Obama is the nominee! So there!

I am looking at 60 in a few months. For me the idea of retiring is SO passe. I am an artist and I feel as if I'm just getting started. I want to remain in a state of constant opening and exploring.

If you want to be put out to pasture, call it a day - whatever - well, then, knock yourself out. (Not literally of course)

We are all in this together, regardless of our age.

    Party On!

You got it wrong, it's ALL about Obama. He thinks he is the Alpha and the Omega.

Because of The. Audacity. Of. Hope are you Fired. Up. And. Ready. To. Go because you feel the Fierce. Urgency. Of. Now?

By the way, Obama looked very haughty during Friday's debate.

  • The Times Indeed have Changed

[Read more letters about this article: Here]

It's interesting when people quote from Bob Dylan's "Times they are a 'changing":

"Get out of the way if you can't lend a hand"

The problem is that younger folks don't seem to want to lend a hand, other than to go to Obama's rock star rallies and proclaim themselves "fired.up.and.ready.to.go" Oh, and to complain about the 60's generation.

We are all in this together, regardless of our age.
