Defensive much?

This article takes the approach most failed arguments utilize. Unable to defend on the issues, spin is used to wiggle their way out by redefining history or reality, or avoid discussion of the issue altogether of change the subject to a criticism of either the messenger or the political opponent.

They have something in common - both Biden and Obama share the fault of plagiarism; Obama's phrases, quotes, and lines from other speeches without crediting or noting the author.

A candidate's past is relevant and important as part of the complete picture of their character and ability. Properly vetting them includes an honest evaluation of their past.

The hypocrisy of those that criticize one candidate and then wretch and writhe when their own candidate is similarly criticized is overtly disingenuous and irrational. The gaffes of Biden and Obama are just as relevant as those of McCain and whoever he chooses as running mate.

Star magazine gossip rag Mike Madden does it again

Notice a trend here? Madden's syrupy ignorant bias is laden with weak assertions, rumor, and poor reasoning. What an embarrassment for any magazine that thinks it might be credible in the least.

Original article: A pit bull in lipstick?

Wild sensationalism makes Joan feel better

Careful... your incessant oozing of biased, partial, knee-jerk inaccuracies, embellishments, and exaggerations in your sloppy ragmag article exposes your character, motives, and agenda.

Oh that's right, it's what you do.

Hypocrisy of the Left

The "secret Muslim who has gay sex while coking up and who beats his wife on a regular basis" is off limits and a horrible rumor to give any credence to, but hey.. THIS unfounded weak fabricated rumor is delicious because it serves their purpose and agenda.

The left will be sexist, racist, homophobic, and fascist if it promotes their position and makes them feel better. Totally opportunistic and void of any character, this hypocrisy reveals their disingenuine core.

Original article: McCain and Palin party down

Not very subtle..

Oh.. you mean like the Democratic convention - sharp sarcasm, vicious attacks, and cotton candy hype. Yea, it wasn't very subtle in Denver.

Notice the difference

While free to make a choice to do something similar, most conservatives and libertarians pursue civil methods of disagreement and protest that actually accomplish something rather than vain dramatic public action that only occasionally attracts attention for a moment. But it sure make the protesters FEEL like they're part of something and they become obsessed with useless tactics of interupting others. Effective? Not at all.

If you watched the convention, it didn't cause any commotion or distraction that had any effect whatsoever.

Original article: The dominatrix

MORE NEW RECORD LOWS..

While the left claims the right is hypocritical, corrupt, and mired in monotony, the left continues to break new records of indecency, irrelevance, superficiality, juvenile conduct, exaggeration and brazen embellishment, and even fascism. The hypocrisy is more crystal clear than ever as they foament and grasp for any irrational straw they can muster.

As an independent and someone likely to vote for Obama, this behavior and set of attitudes is disgusting, vile, and violates every standard and principle Obama seems to hold.

To be fair and accurate, the criticism of Obama and community organizing at the RNC was not directed at the work of community or public service, but a direct retort to his criticism of Palin's experience as mayor and governor. It questioned and ridiculed the idea that community organizing is experience that qualifies someone to be President of the United States. A fair point.

Stop the spin.

ghost writer guilt = blame others

IF this is indeed true, it's obviously a greater statement about the character of the person who chose to work for both of these campaigns and use embellishment and lies as part of their contribution to the flawed political process rather than about either McCain or Obama.

substance over style

while mccain isn't as stylized and smooth-talking as obama, his substance outweighs the empty rhetoric and hypocritical positions obama continues to voice.

Actually...

It's more of a sign of what is going on in this country - throughout our educational system and the mind-numbing effects of an addiction to Hollywood.

Thursday, October 16, 2008 06:14 PM

Ridiculous

and Obama is advertising in video games and the campaign has their own cable station? He's created an American Idol Hollywood presidency which has already demeaned and trivialized the office of the President of the United States, as well as crossed into shady territory of propaganda. If elected, just wait to see what's to come.

Good riddance

If McCain wins, sure... move wherever you want. And with that attitude, good riddance to you. True bipartisanship and national pride would mean working with whichever candidate wins and whichever party has the majority in congress. Now is the time to engage and be more involved in our government, not to retreat or throw a tantrum and take your marbles to another place you'll call home.

Oh, and enjoy your lack of financial liberty and freedom to choose in Denmark.. the 60% tax rate sounds like a perfect fit for you.

healthy change

i think it's a healthy sign of maturity and society's acceptance for isolation and segregation to dwindle as blending and integration becomes more frequent. diversity is truly being achieved. yes we can! the hope we've had for so long is yielding results and bringing about change we can believe in. ways or traditions that were common or the norm in the past became so out of necessity and exclusion. while appreciating those days of history, the advancement should be embraced and celebrated.
