If you honestly think Obama doesn't know how many states there are in the U.S.A., then by all means vote against him. Obama used hyerbole. Look it up.
In your YouTube video insert, from several months past, he said his "staff" would not "justify it" to visit Alaska and Hawaii on his campaign trail at that point. He didn't say he had never been to Alaska or Hawaii. I highly doubt he would deny that he was born in Hawaii, or that he took a family vacation break from the campaign trail there last month.
I didn't call you stupid. Don't call me stupid.
Obama was BORN in Hawaii.
Keep going! You've got book deal or another "Bushisms" daily calendar contract to collect on for your due diligence.

Go after McCain, first and foremost, on facts and record. On Palin, go after facts and record foremost, and "scandals" through surrogates. I'm not talking about exploiting her family (she's already done that). I'm talking about her "family" values being hoisted on to others--specifically, women---and there is ample evidence that she would do that.
"Would Salon even consider printing an article suggesting that Obama was a "token" candidate?"
They might, but they shouldn't. Because Obama is a legitimate candidate. Just as Hillary was.
Thanks for your great post. And thanks to you (and your fellow soldiers) for your service. It's encouraging to know that some of us out here who are too old to fight the actual battles can feel like maybe we're NOT unpatriotic if we fight in any way we can to bring our troops home and out of harm's way for an unnecessary war.
Bravo! Let's take care of these generations to come. (And give your little girl an extra anonymous hug from this stray commentator on salon :)
I truly understand the fear you expressed, but let's not give in to it. Let it be fuel moving forward!
As a total aside, I learned today that my extremely precious not-quite-THREE-year-old great-niece does not have cancer! I am ready to rock the world with hope and miracles. If I sound corny to some salon posters...so what? We have to do what we can do. Spreading the good word ain't a bad thing.
Yes, there is a "jet myth." Palin posted the jet on EBay, but did not sell it on EBay, although she indicated otherwise in her convention speech. McCain touted that sale of the jet on the campaign trail today as one of his favorite memories of her convention speech--and he added that she sold it for a profit! Neither is true. It was sold through a broker, at a loss, to a private businessman who had contributed to Palin's campaign and to other Republican contenders in the state. Nothing wrong with the purchase. Fair trade. What's wrong is lying about it.
Sorry that I'm not AKA Smith responding, and I certainly wouldn't presume to speak for her.
I hope this is OK with you (and I suspect it is)...I already forwarded some of your postings here to others.
I say: Thank You.
(I would say "you're doing a heckuva job" but given modern history, that would be insulting ;)
I agree with Ryan Adams.
