Kill you television

I want a bumper sticker that reads "don't go Hi-Def, Kill your television", Where do I go to get this made? (My last idea was "Rudy, he's no altar boy" but he taknked anyway).

Original article: The livin' is easy

New Yorker cover is fine

I get it.

Really folks...

Thursday, August 14, 2008 08:12 PM
Original article: Happy days are here again!

Can we all just get along...

Either Hillary or Barak would make a fine President. McCain would be dreadful. The next step is clear. (By the way...Dowd is increasingly a pain in the ass.)

Original article: Get Rielle

A lesser sin

Oh john E. You let so many people down, but for this piece of work? You are guilty of bad taste as well.

Saturday, August 16, 2008 09:49 PM

He had to

We are, alas, still officially a christian nation.

Sunday, September 7, 2008 06:59 AM
Original article: Palin watch

Rudy in drag?

How about Ann Coulter with body fat. (But dumber)

Tuesday, September 16, 2008 11:46 AM

It looks bad...

but entirely within character (what we know of it). This could be a big deal. I think we do care.

Running out the clock

When you have nothing to say, sometimes it's better to say nothing. Decider no more.

Friday, September 19, 2008 12:03 PM

Execrable

It really chaps my ass when racist hate talkers accuse their opponents of playing the race card. Its a rhetorical trick which should confuse no one. All's fair against Rush and his gaggle.

Monday, September 22, 2008 02:50 PM

So it's 9-11 inside job all over again

Ive heard only by word of mouth about the vaccine-autism link. So it turns out to be complete wacko crap. Amazing.

Tuesday, September 23, 2008 12:06 PM

Why are so many of us idiots?

So willing to vote for someone with awful positions we don't agree with for some dumb-ass stylistic quirks. And no, I would NEVER have a beer with W. Remember that noise machine's talking point? These are the same people who fell for it.

Wednesday, September 24, 2008 02:07 PM

Keep him on the ropes

McCain has the habit of returning from the dead. Obama has to keep pounding away until election night. We can't be complacent.

Wednesday, September 24, 2008 02:51 PM

Obama should show up...

and debate a life-size cardboard cutout of McCain. Might present better than the real thing.

Friday, September 26, 2008 09:34 AM
Original article: The debate is on

There's still time to reverse...

the "suspension" error and try to recover. But it's too late to fix the Palin decision.

Monday, October 6, 2008 02:19 PM

McCain has a back up carrer plan.

When he loses this election, JM has a demonstrated aptitude as a conservative radio talk show host.

Wednesday, October 8, 2008 01:31 PM

Ayers not news!

Does anyone recognize that the Ayers story has been around for months? Has everyone forgotten? Why would repeating it now have any effect?

Wednesday, October 8, 2008 04:49 PM

PMDD

My understanding is that PMDD is an industry construct in order to expand the market for antidepressants. Has anyone else heard this?

Friday, October 10, 2008 11:06 AM

Take a rational approach

The best available evidence is that most (probably all) interpretations of UFO's as alien spacecraft are mistaken. People who don't know the sky very well can easily misjudge planets, bright stars, the moon, clouds, comets, meteors, human aircraft, missile tests, bird flocks etc. etc.

Another important fact about possible space travel by aliens is the enormous distances between star systems. It would simply take too long.

We should ask if alien visitation is real. The best answer at this time is no. (Possible, just extremely unlikely)

Original article: Polls: Obama wins again

If the voter suppression doesn't work....

From McSames' talk about voter registration "fraud" subverting democracy, seems he's bracing for a defeat followed by a legal challenge.

Sunday, October 19, 2008 02:31 PM

Sounds like asshole syndrome

Really, some people are just fucking assholes, without having a particular syndrome.

Monday, October 20, 2008 08:27 AM

Peggy can be right.....

in the sense that a broken clock can be right twice a day.

Wednesday, November 12, 2008 09:34 AM
Original article: Palinpalooza!

Sarah will be a trivia question by January.

Not even Bill Kristol's pathetic crush on her will help. He's off in the wilderness too.

Friday, November 14, 2008 02:17 PM

Time to leave the Church

I did.

I could never stay in a church with such teachings. (And the mythology seems pretty unlikely too). Join another church, or better, none at all.

Wednesday, December 3, 2008 03:20 PM

Dobbs is a jackass

And people who watch him are morons.

He's pure schtick.

Tuesday, December 9, 2008 04:45 PM

I want to believe

Obama and the governor were not close...right?

(since the gov. refers to BHO as "motherfucker", I think Obama would sense that kind of hostility... wouldn't he?)

Friday, December 12, 2008 09:10 AM

Sadly, the mouth-breathers...

who listen to dick-wads like Rush already consider Powell a RINO (rebublican in name only) and are unlikely to heed his advice and reset their pre-sets.

Friday, December 12, 2008 01:20 PM

Holy shit!

He thinks he's done nothing wrong! He's not going down without a fight! (and the praying.... my ass).

It's "Don't taze me Bro"

Not dude.

To May in FL

Great comment, but just to be completely accurate....

its the "cee-ment pond" Jeb would swim in.

Thursday, January 8, 2009 04:55 PM
Original article: Quote of the day

Groan....

It's just a comic book. And the Iranian prez is Hitler. Too much.

Monday, January 12, 2009 08:20 AM

Seems like the world would be better off...

if W had kept drinking. At least until 2000.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009 10:34 AM

Does anyone care...

who's secretary of commerce? Is it just me? It seems pretty inconsequential?

Friday, March 6, 2009 09:36 AM

Time to leave the Church.

For all you Catholics who wonder why you stay in a church with absurd and outrageous teachings, this should be the tipping point. Join another, or better yet, no church.

Thursday, March 12, 2009 08:53 AM

"Sellout" is a strong word...

but really, it must be hard to navigate the contradictions of being a black Republican.

Monday, March 23, 2009 01:46 PM

Michelle Malkin is a...

skinny little idiot.

Monday, April 13, 2009 04:33 PM

Fountainhead's a piece of shit too

I struggled though that book in college. The I found out it had some kind of philosophical message. I just though it was a really crappy novel. Big waste of time.

Thursday, April 23, 2009 04:02 PM

I like "Social Democrats"

That's what like-minded parties are called in Europe.

Thursday, May 7, 2009 03:59 PM

Just goes to show...

The media wingnuts will throw anything at BHO, no matter how meaningless. (Although yellow mustard has its place, a bright taste when in the mood for that).

Wednesday, May 13, 2009 03:11 PM
Original article: Radio rage

Well, on the plus side....

Camille does allow that some of the radio wingnuts go to far. She fails to explain listening to them in the first place. (I personally think most people who listen to them are pretty stupid and/or highly impressionable).

The guy who shot up the Tenn. Unitarian church some months back had a copy of Michael (Weiner) Savage's latest crap book in his pick-up, so it's hard to argue these guys are harmless.

Finally, the cultural commentary is not interesting, seems rambling and unconnected to the bulk of the column.

(I do like the letters though).

Friday, May 15, 2009 08:59 AM

Ohhhh the lameness....

Isn't a tea party something 3 your old girls (and 90 year old women) have?

Teabags and torture, those are the big ideas in the GOP today?

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 01:38 PM

Michelle Malkin....

Has never said anything of value. Just a snarky attack dog for Fox. Does she really have a following?

Thursday, June 4, 2009 02:02 PM

I think its OK

The group is not actively anti-abortion rights. She's a catholic active in charity work. Let her have the job without your belly-aching.

Thursday, June 4, 2009 02:10 PM
Original article: Rush Limbaugh's new low

If you ignore him....

he won't go away. But you will feel much better. (If you must know what he's saying, check Media Matters... but never, never listen to Rush's show). Works for me.
