@ rott635

"Go suck and egg."

Not as on message and direct as I would prefer, but I think you are catching on. Still a little too cerebral. Try again.

Everyone can come back here a year from now, when these patsies loose another election to those who play hardball, and tell me about they year they spent in "service" of the government, or fighting the "good" war in Afghanistan vs. the "bad" war in Iraq. Meanwhile dissent at the convention is quashed by the police. People are thrown in jail for standing outside their designated protest zones. Reporters are roughed up and thrown in jail on false charges. Democrats attend glitzy parties and conventions sponsored by corporations that benefit directly from government access.

While you, rott635 are impressed with rambling speeches that end with bible quotes and Nascar country music (WTF was that?), I'll be on my high horse calling it like it is for the real working man (my representative Jane Harman[D] has a net worth of 3 billion dollars... working class my ass) who has a stake in all this showmanship. If these fuckers want to represent me, they'd better play the game better than this.

@ Morris Sheppard

Morris,

You choose to attack me directly and stay repetitive and on message in your attack, instead of disputing my assertions or getting all educational with your rebuttal.

I get it. I'm not smart enough to have an opinion here, and I'm a narcissistic megalomaniac who needs to remember his place in this "democracy." The underlying message being: get with us or get out of the way, and don't dare think you could do things better than the ruling class, they are obviously experts who deserve our unwavering consent (barring the Democrat's obvious failures in the last 2 presidential elections, and barring the winning team's fundamental lack of expertize in all things politic.)

Your reply suggests an intelligent subtle irony invocative of the great parodists like Swift, or you are a pot calling a kettle black. Which is it Senator?!
