I can't believe it

So many McCain could have picked from. He snubbed Ron Paul. Ron Paul was the only decent choice, and this woman is making a fool of us.

She hasn't answered one question yet.

If they are telling her not to answer questions, she should have the integrity and fortitude to tell them (Rove) that she won't be their silent puppet.

McCain's debate

McCain would just say trite empty phrases anyway, coached by his staff. Most of it is insulting. The speechwriting process has gone too far. Empty generalizations, nonproductive talk, lack of solutions...

Our Founding Fathers would be astonished. Although they were profound in many cases, there was substance backing what they said.

Zardari and Palin

Is anyone surprised? Wasn't this what they want to happen?

Just like the ogling ga-ga American men who will vote for her because of her looks?

How silly and sad it is, that our politics is now about attraction, rather than substance.

I can't imagine any female politician wanting to %^&$#@ herself out to gain favor with any other nation. Sure, she isn't doing anything with him, but the mind candy is there.

Silverado, anyone?

McCain can't solve the economic crisis.

This is just a ploy to look more powerful than he is.

Something smells fishy.

He wouldn't go running to "help with the economic crisis (sic)" and cost himself his credibility.

Something smells Silverado. Does McCain have something to do with this Wall Street crisis??

Wouldn't look at Obama

Obama would look at McCain while addressing him.

McCain never once looked at Obama.

McCain's body language was that of a man who wasn't being honest. His attempt to not have the debate was low too. John McCain was not going to fix Wall Street, need I say Keating 5?

Heh

McCain seemed to want to provoke Obama, and Obama did not take the bait.

McCain never offered the American Taxpayer one reason why he was going to not show up for the debates.

As if he didn't owe us anything.

Like how he is going to fix things, but he never says how. We all know how that goes.

Sarah is in over her head.

A woman has to know her limitations. :)

Original article: How Sarah Palin blew it

Palin Go Home

Palin didn't come off as serious.

The forced smile, the design scripted memorized answers.

The incredibly long sentences.

Going off on tangents that sounded like lectures on how great America is.

The silly apology of not being a "Washington insider", thereby calling Biden one...

Interjecting the memorized "oh Joe..." with bad timing, as if she hadn't used that line yet...

She took advantage of the fact that Biden did not take her bait or attack back, and ran with it. Had Biden talked to her, the way she talked to him, he would have been accused of being a sexist.

I didn't think the debate format was a debate. It was just answering questions.

Please do not elect this woman and McCain. Many of us out here are bleeding financially, and I am not even talking about the homeowners.

Today, Rush Limbaugh went on and on about how could we elect Obama because he thinks he is inexperienced, blah blah. Rush, you ignore the fact you are describing Bush, not Obama.

Politicizing Abortion

Every election, abortion is brought up, and it seems to me, peope want to believe their candidate reflects their views.

But no one really does anything about abortion, nor are they going to.

After elected, you don't hear anything about it.

It should be up to the states and politicians just politicize it for churchgoers.

The Mac LOL

When McCain blurted out, "The Mac is back," sounded like he almost forgot to use that line they gave him. Like "Oh and yes..."

I wondered where he was back from. Does he even know?

Why the focus on race?

If race doesn't matter...why all the focus on putting someone into an office who is particular race or gender?

If race or gender shouldn't matter, then there shouldn't be all this posturing to put someone in just BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE OR GENDER.

If Obama wanted to prove he was racially neutral, he would have picked a white male for the job. No kidding.

You see, if they were really interested in "equality", then what was done to minorities wouldn't be turned around and done back to whites, because they'd say, hey, that's wrong, pure and simple.

But this is more about power and who wants to be "on top."

It never was about race after the 1960s, it became about economic and political advantage.

No one was ever going to deny Oprah Winfrey or any other well to do minority the table of their choice in a restaurant, and it has everything to do with money.

Money trumps race and gender every time.
